Can you put Magic Your Way tickets on your room key?

I was on the Disney site to purchase MYW tickets but could not find a way of connecting them to our reservation so that they could be on the room keys. Can this be done? Can I do itwhen I check in? I asked this on the Theme Park Board but no one seems to know. Other than buying a package is there a way to combine these? We are staying at the WLV for one week.

Unless things have changed, you cannot put tickets purchased anywhere but WDW (maybe even the resort desk itself, but I don't know that it true) onto your room key. We werent' even able to put tickets we purchased at the Ocala Disney Welcome Center onto our room keys during our last visit.

We were just there and had purchased our tickets from TicketMania. The Concierge desk put them on our resort keys no problem. We stayed at BWV- this was last week, too.

what if you have days left??? arae your room keys now your tickets for the next trips, we bought myw 10 day no expirations!

Good to hear that they will put them on your room keys (or at least they did in at least one case). Yes, your tickets if they didn't expire would be on old room keys, but that is far better than the cardboard media that our current unexpired leftover tickets are on.

I don't know how it works if you bought tickets ahead of time.. but I needed two more days of hoppers while I was at BCV in August and she put them right on my room key also.. no problem and it was her recommendation. Have a ball!

Things have changed since the advent of the MYW tickets. The new software (for the front desks at the resort) associated with them makes it easy for the CMs to put tickets on Resort IDs. Doesn't matter where you purchased the tickets. If you have the "No expiration" feature, you would just continue to use that Resort ID card until the ticket is used up.

I don't think you can combine those those old tickets on your room key. AFAIK, you can only put new (unused) MYW tickets on your room key. Wouldn't hurt to ask when you check in, though.

It does not have to be a new unused ticket. It can be a partially used one BUT it can only be that one ticket. You cannot under any circumstances combine multiple tickets new or old on the resort ID. If you are purchasing new tickets at check in, you will not be able to put any other tickets on the ID.
