Can you purchase the Dining Plan if you receive a Bonus Week from II?

Sorry if this question is a repeat but we just came back after staying on points and we loved the dining plan. We also have an unused Bonus Week from II (from our Marriott) that we were hoping to try and use at a DVC resort. Would we be able to purchase the Dining Plan for that stay?

Absolutely. Must request it through MS prior to arrival and pay for all 7 nights for all in the party regardless of how many days you'd be staying. We may do just that in Sept depending on whether we renew the DDE and what reservations we get.

That actually was my next question but you answered it. The Bonus Week is for 1 week but we can only stay 5 days, so we would have to buy it for all 7 days in this case?

Yes, I asked this specifically. Even as a member who has traded in, no way to modify the original room reservation, I'm told. You may be better not getting it or maybe planning more signature options. My problem with my trip is that it may be just myself for the week. I may not know until the day of departure if my wife and/or youngest teen will be able to go. I'll just have to make my best guess and go from there. But you can bet I won't over estimate the party size. I'm told you can't adjust the number of people at check in but we may find out for certain. So I may just have to do it for one and then see where we are on arrival and if necessary, hope my experience is different than MS's quotations. Not an uncommon experience in the past. But I will be prepared and happy to stick with what is reserved if I can't change it on check in, even though I may end up with 1 person on the DDP and 3 in the 1 BR at BWV.
