Weird question, but I can't seem to find the answer.

How many chapters are in the unabridged version of The Count of Monte Cristo?


I've managed to find there is about a 600 page difference between unabridged & abridged versions, but I need to know the # of chapters.

Please provide a link to your source also. Thanks.

not sure if this is the abridged version but literature.org says 117 chapters

I think those are both abridged because the unabridged has something like 1462 pages in it.

So we can now assume any summaries with 117 chapters is abridged.

Does anyone understand IBN #s? Scroll down to Editions. There are several unabridge editions there.

Isn't this one of those free eBook classics that you can download for free? I forget the website that where you can download the eBook classics. But, I would think it has all the chapters, if you can find the unabridged version.

I take it back. I think you found the answer. Cover of that book says unabridged & has 117 chapters.

Another copy not indicating lists only 101 chapters.

Ignoring page counts because pages & font change.
