Can you get a 2 bed at OWK at the end of August

We have made an offer on a resale with banked points, the only opportunity we will have to use these points before they expire will be for 5 nights at the end of August. I am guessing that by the time we get through ROFR and closing that it will be towards the end of March before we are in Disney's system.

So will we be able to get a 2 bed in OKW for 5 nights towards the end of August booking 5 months out? If not would there be anywhere we could use these points.

I decided to upgrade our 1 bedroom for a 2 bedroom at OKW. I was able to get a 2 bedroom for 8 nights in June, starting the 4th, only 31 days from arrival date, so I would expect that your chances would be very good.

Two points. First, most schools in the south start back early August, and many others around the country are back by middle August. Even people who don't mind taking their kids out of school usually don't do it early in the year like that. Also, it will be interesting to see if people will be afraid to book hurricane season after last year. I don't think you will have any trouble. Last year we decided at the last minute to make a quick trip to WDW for Columbus Day weekend and do MNSSHP. I got a 2 bedroom at OKW about 6 weeks out no problem.
