Can you cancel the dining plan?

Just wondering if you are able to xancel the dining plan. We have all these nice ADRs but it was 98 degrees here yesterday and I didnt even want to eat. I must have forget that June in Florida is hot! I think the Desserts will do me in. i can't drink or eat sweets when I'm sweltering- it just makes me nauseous.

Yes, so long as you call to do it more than 3 days prior to arrival.

If you are within 45 days of arrival, decreasing the cost of your package by removing the dining plan may result in your paying the $50 change fee.

If you're DVC, you can remove it from your reservation up to 2 days prior to arrival, no penalties.

I need to do some math......
I've booked our ADR's for our trip in November, but I keep thinking that we just aren't going to eat enough food to justify the cost. It will be my husband, 8 y.o., and myself. I would call us "average" eaters. Restaurant portions are usually too big for us, but it kind of depends on the type of food. I can never finish big, carby meals, but you put a plate of sushi in front of me and it's gone. Has anyone else done this??? Regrets or happy with your decision? What would you say, on average, you saved?

You've pulled up a thread from 2012, but if you still want some help with making the decision, let us know where and when your ADRs are and we can help you with the math. Having an 8 yr old is in your favor. We also need the number of NIGHTS you're staying and which dining plan you've purchased.
