Ooo...I hope Chad's back is ok! And bummer on the washing machine! Mine went out a few months ago and it was a huge pain. We had to completely replace the whole unit (which is a stacked washer and dryer).

Sorry to hear about Chad and his treatment. It really stinks about your washing machine. There are just certain appliances that you can't live without in your home. My garbage disposal has been out for 4 months. But, I'm dealing with it. A washing machine is a little different. I'd have to live at the laundry mat.

Yes those epi shots HURT...That needle..OMG!! Needles don't normally bother me, but this one sure did!!!

I hope he's ok. I've had epidural shots---they aren't fun at all...hurt like crazy too. I had major back trouble a few years ago..it just took a lot of rest and some physical therapy..

He had them a couple of years ago, and they really helped his back! We just wish that there was something that could be done to help him. I pray for a miracle daily!!

Chad's unfortunately could have been fixed! His mom was told he had scoliosis as a child. She didn't do anything about it! I can promise you, if I was told my child had something like that, I would fix it instead of partying on the weekends. Okay, off my soapbox now......
So, Chad hurt it worse while working. He had 2 discs that completely ruptured and they had to fuse them together. The doctor told him last week that the disc's above the ones fixed were going the same route as the other two....we just hope for a miracle!

Okay folks, I talked to my sis-in-law the other night! She has booked our trip for October!!!!! WHOOO HOOOOO!!

So, its going to be SIL, dr boyfriend, my 2 nieces, maybe his 3 kids if they aren't with their mom, younger BIL, younger SIL and her hubby, and possibly FIL and S-MIL! Oh, and we can't forget the Nanny! Yes....I said it right. They are taking the Nanny because younger niece won't go to Halloween Horror Nights. So, they are bringing their nanny to play with Hattie and Hollie. We are staying at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal. Now, nothing against the nanny, but we only leave Hollie with my parents. So, I don't necessarily know if we will let Hollie stay with her. But, with Hattie staying with her I know Hollie would in a heartbeat. She LOVES her cousin!!! But, we will see!

Oh, oh, oh!! the good thing about it..........WE ARE ALL GOING TO MICKEY'S NOT-SO-SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY!!!

So, I am planning my first family trip (as an adult). I went with my parents growing up and in high school for cheerleading, but this will be the first time since 1997! I am, and always have been, obsessed with all things Disney. We are booked for Nov 29-Dec 4 2009 at Pop. This will be my DHs (31) first time to WDW, and we will be taking our DS (3) he will be 4 by then. My Mom and Step-dad will also be coming with us!

Can’t wait to keep reading!

Heya how are you? And how is Chad feeling with his back? I really feel for him, I had some back problems before and know how much it can hurt. Luckily mine wasn't that bad, and nothing serious (I hope anyway) but it still really hurt. Anyhow, have you any new plans for any of your trips?

Good luck to Chad with his back! My mom (shes 45) had back surgery after countless numbers of cortizone shots in her back did nothing for her. The surgery was the best thing she's ever done she said. I hope Chad's situation doesn't come to that but know that there is a way for him to not be in pain anymore!

Thanks for the welcome , I cant wait to chat about my obsession, WDW! All of my friends, including my family, think that I have lost my mind....I cant go a day without talking to someone about it. Now, I have people that will listen without thinking that I am a looney toon! You all seem super sweet, and I cant wait for any tips you can throw my way!

I don't have any plans as of right now. I know I will have tons once they release the MVMCP dates!! Whooo hoooo!!

He likes the shots because he feels better for like a week. Then that is it!! I couldn't imagine being young and having a bad back. He's a man, so he still does what he shouldn't do!
He actually had back surgery in 2005. They fused 2 discs back together and the ones above those are looking bad. I just pray he doesn't have to go through the surgery again. If by chance he does, I really hope it helps him better than the last one. Who knows, by then they might have a new kind of surgery!

I could tell the southern belle part, 'cause I say some of the same things as yall ....

DH still thinks it is too far away to be excited, but I just keep telling that he just doesn't realize what lies ahead for him!! I try to pep him up, I make him watch every show about it and try to mention things that I know he will enjoy, but he still looks at me like I am a nut..... OH WELL!

I saw that we will just miss you, I hate that! We both will have our 4 years olds and parents in tow.....Whew, that one may call for a drink!
