Can we make it?

I'm going to keep looking for a different Ana and Elsa time but if nothing comes up I'm gonna go for both lol. We will be there the last week of August. I'm going to call CM right before we go in and explain the situation and see what they say. Once we leave my DH is going to walk briskly ahead of us and beeline it to CM. Thanks for all the advice :) super appreciate having you guys to go to:). Oh!! Just checking my fastpasses and they are for 650 to 750! Not a huge change but slightly better right?

I think the extra time makes this very doable! You just gained 10 minutes on my timeline!! You can even stop to freshen up at the contemporary when you arrive there now if all goes well! !

It may actually be easier to look for a different ADR for CM. I would do both daily, especially closer to the 45 day mark when people have to cancel due to non-payment.

this is a good idea. going to try and see and my DH just told me that he doesn't mind not going to the meet and greet and just start walking to CM with my FIL while the rest of us go in. I think he's just saying that tho so i can stop talking to him about it :rotfl:

While your DH and FIL can walk over to CM early at a leisurely pace, the restaurant will not check anyone in until your entire party is there so you'll still need to move quickly once the M&G is done.

oh yeah i know that. It just makes me feel better knowing that someone will physically be there instead of no one being there :)

I think taking the monorail would get them there quicker than walking since it is the first stop on the resort line. But I have never done the actual walk to CR so it could be quicker than I'm thinking.

Walking is normally faster, assuming you don't have mobility issues.

If you hit "all the lights" just right the m-rail will win every time to CM. But "hitting all the lights" means you fly out of MK and on to a m-rail, they close the doors behind you and don't hold outside the CR for traffic, and you pull in, you are one of the first people down out of the station.

Remember Resort Monorail is down almost to the dock and then up the ramp to your right out of MK, to walk to the CR it's a left, and a lot of times you can use the exit by buses basically cutting across the plaza.

Then you don't have to wait for a queue of people on the ramp, M-rail to arrive, unload, load, or deal with the escalator down from the station at the CR.

It also depends on how you feel about jaywalking across the street in front of the CR. If you are willing to cross against the light, it can save you a minute or two.
