Can we just start talking about Halloween now????

Trying to plan our family costumes or if we will just each pick our own thing!

How many are in your family? I wanted to do a theme costume for my group but the kids are being difficult. lol
2 adults and 2 kids. It's between star wars and Pixar. This trip was actually suppose to happen October 2020. I had the kids' costumes already done and then well.. Disneyland never opened. So I am thinking of reusing them.

If you like to fly Southwest, I thought I would post these two tips I've learned as I work on planning out our trip:

1. They will be opening up flight schedules through November on March 30, 2022.

2. You can exchange your Mariott Bonvoy points for Southwest Rapid Rewards.

I don't have nearly enough Bonvoy points for any room, but enough to get a good discount through Southwest. That will be a big help!

I saw the change in the southwest dates. They originally said flights would open March 3rd.

Well here’s hoping they keep the date, I am anxious to stalk the site for decent flight prices. I refuse to pay the $1400 that all other airlines have right now.

If you are a sams member you can get a $500 SW gift card for $450

I'd fly SW from Portland to LA area but they dont have any direct flights (crazy right?) so we fly Delta or Alaska

Flights are so crazy right now. I looked at Delta before and they don’t have direct flights from Denver. Sometimes it sucks being in the middle of the country because you can’t get anywhere easily.

So, I know it's hard to say - but when do we expect Disney will release OBB dates?

I have to book my park reservations in the next month or so, and it would be great to be able to plan around my OBB day.

You can't reserve park days until 120 days out, so Sept can't be booked in May, October can't be booked until June.

It does make one wonder..
If Disney knows park reservations for September open in May, one would really hope they open up OBB before that! I can dream right?!
I'm kinda hoping for a halfway to Halloween situation in April..

We'll be there from October 11th - 17th. I'd really like to get tickets to OBB because my kids love trick or treating, but this year I think we'll literally miss out on October 31st because we'll be in the air crossing the international date line 😅

Hey! Our dates are the 12-18th!! If they follow the schedule from last year the 13th and the 16th could be party nights. We are aiming for the 16th!

Can everyone help me justify the price? I really want to go, but for what will cost our family approximately $800 (AUD) I'm struggling to see the worth of it.

I know lines are shorter on rides, and there are a heap of characters out, and you can go trick or treating in the park, but am I missing something else? For an extra $800 I could add a whole extra day on our tickets and buy a bunch of candy to dump out on the bed of our hotel room when we get back...

Stalking OBB date and ticket release along with the rest of you! I pulled the trigger on going to D23 Expo and this will be the first year that HalloweenTime overlaps with D23, which is Sept 9-11. Talk about Disney heaven, at least for me! I’m hoping to snag OBB tickets for the day we fly in because that would work out perfectly. I just booked hotel and will work on flights once SW opens the schedule. No costumes for us, but for those of you who do dress up, please know that we love seeing all the costumes!
