Can we get 11 day MYW tickets?

I have an Annual Pass, but my wife and son have 10 day MYW tickets. We just realized we're going to be at the parks for 11 days, but I noticed they only sell 10 day passes online.

What do we do? Will we be able to add a day on when we check in, or will we have to buy a whole other day pass for each one of them?

Unfortunately you will have to purchase single day tickets as WDW does not offer a 11-day ticket.

Is it just me or is that REALLY stupid? I thought Disney wanted to keep guests on property as long as they could. Why risk losing them like that?

Several options here. You could purchase a couple one day MYW tickets to cover that 11th day. Or you could have them upgrade from the 10 day MYW to AP's at check-in. Depending on when you plan to go to WDW again, this may or may not be a better (more economical) option than purchasing additional MYW tickets for this trip.

Alternatively, you could schedule one day within the 11 days as a day to engage in other activities such as go to the Water Parks &/or DTD, explore the resorts, rent a boat, relax by the pool, spend time at the Boardwalk, take in a dinner show, etc.. There are many, many ways to spend a day and have fun that don't necessarily involve entering any of the 4 major parks.

Personally, my family enjoys the later option. We frequently will schedule at least one day off from the major parks, just to relax and explore other areas of WDW (or the Orlando area).

I wouldn't worry about the "lost day". It gives you a built-in rain day or resort day to recharge the batteries. Spend half day at the pool/resort and half day at Downtown Disney. If you want to spend all 11 days at the parks, no biggies just buy a one day pass.

Either way, 11 days at Disney will be a great trip!

indeed I must agree, I preferred the length of stay passes to the MYW campaign. I am sure Disney will change it yet again in another year or two.

I have to agree with the other posters -- a down day can be a good thing. It is nice on occasion to sleep in -- enjoy what your resort has to offer -- maybe do some shopping at Downtown Disney -- or just check out the other resorts in general.

Or you could upgrade their tickets to Annual Passes -- you didn't say whether or not their 10-day tickets are hoppers or just the base ticket. If they are hoppers, then it wouldn't cost that much to upgrade them to the Annual Pass, and would definitely be much better of a value than having to purchase a one day - one park ticket at $67.10 each.

I agree a down day can be nice, but this would be a forced down day, not one by choice.
