If so, do they have to be traveling with us? Some friends of ours are going down around the same time, but maybe before our family. Could I book a room for them with their own dates/names, etc.? Will they have to show Disney VISA at check-in? I want to make sure I understand so it doesn't cause them any problems on vacation. I'm not trying to find a loophole or anything, I just was wondering what is legitimately allowed. Thanks for your help.

I just booked 2 rooms with my DV card. One for my family and one for my brother. I had no problem, but we are traveling at the same time. I don't know what they would do, since you are traveling at two differnet times.

You (and your friends) should be fine as long as you book their ressie in their name. I also have 3 rooms booked under 2 ressies and all on one card. Since the ressies are in each families name, the dates we travel don't matter. We won't need to be together for check in. We each have or own ressie numbers. And no...you won't need to show the Disney Visa at check in. (this all according to the CM I talked to yesterday. I did plug my ressie number in online and it only shows my family and did the same for my friends. Everything check out.)

The deposit has to made to your Disney Visa, as long as you are ok with doing that, then you book more than one room.
