My family and I are looking to go next Oct for 4 days at universal, 1 day sea world, and 5 days Disney. And I was wondering how far in advance can you book a room at the on sight hotels for Universal? Also, what are the benefits in staying at the Hard Rock, Portifino, and Royal Pacific hotels compared to Cabana bay Isn't Cabana Bay an on sight hotel as well? The only difference I see is the other 3 you can get express pass and Cabana you don't get that. Can anyone confirm this or tell me the benefits this would be our first time staying on sight. Thank you

The unlimited ep is one of the main reasons most of us like to stay on site. There are other perks, but that is a biggie!

exactly..this is the main reason we won't stay Cabana Bay.It isn't worth it to us without the resort guest express pass

I can see staying at Cabana Bay if you are getting in too late to go to the parks and then are transferring to a deluxe on-site hotel the next day. It would save some money.

Maybe then I would book it, but probably not since I hate changing resorts.

That's great point when we do our weekend trips. Instead of drive up Saturday morning we can go up Friday night after work.

We were thinking of Cabana bay but then we saw no xpress pass so my husband and I decided to stay at the hard rock hotel.
