Can someone explain the AAA discount?

Be never booked with AAA before and have some questions.
1. Is the discount just on the room or a package?
2. If it is on the package and I happen to receive a PiN code or free dining or come out would I be able to use both discounts?
3. Do I book through AAA or can I book through Disney and give them my aAA info?

For the room only AAa discount, you can just book with Disney. For a AAA package offer, you would have to book through AAA.

You can't stack discounts though.

Many AAA offices/regions put together their own "packages", so they can only be booked through AAA.

AAA members can qualify on room discounts direct from Disney, as Vicki says.

I once went at the last minute and they found me a room and they got me a 10% discount. It was better then nothing and super easy to book. It was only 2 days so I didn't bother with anything because my sister did all the fast pass reservations once I was booked she somehow added me by calling. I called to get the discount.

Also, when you book a package through AAA you get Magical Extras which include things like a parking pass for AAA Diamond parking (up front near the handicapped spots), discount cards, free Disney Quest passes (two per room), miniature golf passes (two per room), and more.
