Can I Upgrade Ticket?

I have two extra adult 4 day hoppers. When we get to Disney can I upgrade the tickets to children 7 day hoppers?

They are older tickets so do I use them once first at the parks and then go to upgrade them to get the current pricing?

1. Yes.

2. You can't do that. If you use the "adult" ticket, it can only be upgraded to another "adult" ticket.

So, it is unclear exactly how much you will have to pay for the upgrade.

This is part of a narrow range of ticket upgrade situations that can't follow
the "normal" upgrade rules.

Thank you for the quick response! So can I link the tickets to my kid's accounts or should I wait until they are upgraded? I would love to link them so I can start fast passes but I would hate to get stuck only being able to then upgrade them to adult 7 day tickets. Can I link as long as we don't use?

3. The FP+ reservations will be unaffected in regard to the "kind" of valid ticket connected.
