Can I make my ADR?

I will be going from the AK to MGM via Disney buses. If the AK closes at 5:00 and my ADR at 50's Prime Time Diner is 5:40, do you think I can make it there on time?

That might be cutting it close. Especially if there is a wait for the bus. If you are planning on seeing the AK parade, see it where it starts so you can leave a bit earlier. If not then I would leave the park at around 4:30. Getting through security at MGM in addition to the bus thing can take awhile. Better safe than sorry, I hate it when we are rushing to make our ADR's!

What I would do is leave like at 3 or 4. SInce you can't take a bus from AK to MGM directly, you will have to take a bus back to your resort then to MGM. This might help if you want to change clothes. Or do what we are going to do and get a rental car. Just remember when trying to leave a park when that park closes could be very busy trying to leave.

So buses don't go directly from park to park? You have to go back to a resort and transfer?

In April 2004, we definitely took a bus from AK to MGM. We either took buses, the monorail, a boat from park to park. So, that said, I would leave at least an hour to get from AK to MGM, to be on the safe side. If it was me, I'd be at the bus stop at 4:30/4:45.

This allows you to put in your start and end locations. It will tell you if there is more than 1 form of transportation to your destination and the length of time (approx.) that it will take.

Yes, you can take a bus directly from AK to MGM.
We did this in June.
I would go with the advise Amy&Dan gave.
If you head out of AK by 4:45 that should be enough time.
