I have not crusied Disney in almost 3 years, I can not quite remember if this cutting way too close. Thanks!!!!

Be careful. Security lines at the Orlando Airport were surprisingly long last year. I don't know if this is a regular thing.

I think that's cutting it too close. I wouldn't book a flight before noon. While we normally have no problem disembarking, it can happen. One of our cruises took longer to clear immigration. If that happened on your cruise, you'd never make an early flight.

When we cruised fall 2003 we had a noon flight but could have made the 10:40 flight. Note we had a towncar, but the ship was cleared quickly and we were not rushing to get off. There is a chance that the ship could be delayed or like the previous poster said, long lines at security. I would think you should be fine. Good luck!!

In theory, you could make it.
In practice, there is a possibility that something could delay you.
For comparison, here is how it's gone for us in 42 cruises: severe delays two or three times out of 42. One was because someone accidentally took our luggage, and we had to wait until literally everyone else claimed theirs before we could make a report.
One was because the ship was delayed returning to the port.
One was because the terrorism alert level had just changed (not long after 9/11), resulting in an insanely long disembarkation line.
We normally use a towncar, so that helps.

We just made a 10:55 am flight. Our Limo was supposed to pick us up at 8:00a.m. but it was 45 minutes late, then a 45 minute ride we made it to the airport by 9:30 and waited in the very long check in line for 45 more minutes. Then we had to shop at the Disney store. We got in the security line which took about 15 more minutes. We arrived at our gate at 10:50 a.m. So I would just not shop and you would have plenty of time. :rotfl: HTH

If everything goes good, yes you could make it. Yesterday we were checked in (used curb side check-in) & through security & eating breakfast at the airport by 10:15. Our flight left at 11:45.

We had an 11:20 flight and made it to the airport by 9:00!!! We used Fl Tours and they picked us up at the port at 8:00. Like everyone says there could always be delays but I think I would do it!!

Disney suggests no flights before 12:30pm, and I suspect that's because many have had trouble reliabily making it in time before then.
Getting to the airport was a small problem, we took the DCL bus and were there by 10:15. Problem one was the 45 minute long line to get off the ship. It took less than 10 minutes once in the cruise terminal to get our luggage, clear immigration, check our bags with the airline at the port, and get on the bus and be on our way.
Problem two was the 90 minute wait to get through security at the airport that had us sweating whether we would make our 12:35pm flight.
They were already boarding when we got to the gate. But we made it. Not a very relaxing end to a cruise for sure.
