vivilasvegas said:If I can give unasked for advice...don't "diet". Count your calories of what your normally eat, then minus 500. Either through not eating, or exercise. Then eat normally/healthy, but allow yourself some treats. Don't cut anything out that you love!!! This will only make you not last! Just remember moderation. You will lose 1 to 2 pounds a week, which is the healthy way to do it. It's actually quite easy that way. You'd be surprised what you can cut out to lose those calories.![]()
Walking is great!! If you walk up to an hour a day total, you burn a good amount of calories.
You should not have to give up food that you like when losing weight. It will work, trust me. And it will give to eating like that for a lifestyle, not just a quick fix.If you diet, then lose the weight you want, you will then go back to eating the stuff you missed. Not good. You need to always be able to eat things you like, just in moderation. It really just changes the way you eat, not restricts.
This is all so true. That is why I don't like to say I am on a "diet", that would mean I CANT eat certain things. Its better to change your eating habits than to cut ALL the good stuff out completely.
