Can I have a planning journal for an at home Disney wedding?

Maybe this is silly, but I seem to only see PJs on Disney weddings, or maybe ones that were going to be at Disney and then had to change at home, not too many current ones that start as an at home wedding.

We're deciding between the two right now, and if I end up doing an at home wedding, it would be nice to still chat about like-minded Disney fans on here. I think on some of the other wedding sites people will not be as excited lol.

You bet! There used to be a lot more of those a few years back (I started lurking long before I got engaged myself ;) ) and @DisneyFirefly is having a a Disney-themed wedding not on Disney property (definitely check her PJ out!) There are no rules.

Happy planning and congrats on your engagement!

Yeah, there definitely used to be a lot more at-home weddings. Not sure why there aren't as many anymore... Congrats on your engagement! I'd love to follow along! :)

I've been wondering about that too! I glad I'm not the only one who's a Disney geek but is planning wedding somewhere else. I'll start mine if you start yours ;)

Thanks! And yay! I've been doing some lurking too, but all post - engagement. I've always loved and had always wanted to go to the Disney parks, but hadn't growing up so I never really thought having a wedding there or themed to it. Until I got engaged on the first day of my first ever trip to Disneyland!

PS. I totally went through your entire PJ. And then showed multiple parts to my fiance. I'm determined to have fabric swagging down the aisle now :)

I'm definitely going to get one started! I just went through your PJ (at work... shhhh!) I totally sympathize with having to change things and postpone - We had a place picked out in Colorado for this summer, a little more than we thought of spending but had promises from my parents to help out. Fast forward a little, add in some family drama, and now we're pretty much back at square one and looking at Summer 2017.

I love your centerpiece and cake table ideas! Also, we want to do the Beauty and the Beast rose on our head table too - I found a cloche with lights at Target after Christmas to use. Now to rig it up lol

That's so cool! Joe always swore he'd never propose to me at Disney, because I'd be expecting it. Instead he proposed on our college campus. But then we celebrated by going to Disneyland! Or, well, it was technically for my birthday, but we all know we roll our celebrations together for Disney.

Too funny....we're looking at May 2017. We got engaged back in July and knew we wanted to wait, but due to life and all that we've only just now found a venue we liked!
