Can I get I (and my entire party) get in VQ if I'm managing the app?

Can my party get in a VQ if I'm the only one who has my disney experience on my phone, or does the whole party have to have it?

Yes but everyone should have their own MDE account and you link from there. Then when going for the VQ you select from your friends and family with eligible tickets for the day who is in the VQ group. Then you try for the VQ. No, you don’t know your return time.

It’s better practice to have multiple people try for it to increase your odds if you want a morning VQ slot.

I would never go to WDW with MDE only set on one phone. Also don’t see the point to that. If people have a smartphone they should download MDE and be logged in to their account as backups in case anything goes wrong with your app or account. And this app can be glitch central

It’s easier to get a VQ if several people are trying from their own phones to get one for the whole group - faster fingers, etc. But it’s not impossible for you to get one for everyone from just your one phone.
