Can I change resorts???

I have an package (AP room rate with dining) booked at POR at the end of May.
But I was wondering if I paid it off before the 45 day prior to arrival (final payment due Apr 8th) would I be able to Upgrade to A Deluxe Resort and just pay the difference? , without a penalty???. TIA

I don't see why not. I thought the penalty was only for changes made after the 45 day mark.

And even after the 45 day mark if you're upgrading they won't charge you the change fee.
