My family wants to eat at one CS place in Epcot and I want a different place. Can I bring my lunch to the place they are eating? I know that some places have rules against this type of thing.

i don't see a problem with this as long as others in your group are eating at the place you are. we did this once where most of us were eating in my favorite place, yakitori house in japan at epcot and 2 others didn't want that. they grabbed there meal elsewhere and had a seat with us. the staff didn't mind as 4 of us were eating from there.

I don't see a problem with it either, as long as someone from your party is eating food from the establishment. I would have a problem if someone brought it outside food, and then took up a table from a restaurant they're not patronizing. It's very difficult to find a table sometimes, and I do not like it when I'm looking for one, and see people just sitting at a table, not eating the restaurant's food.

No problems there. My family used to do it a lot since my brother was such a picky eater.

Thanks for your replys! I am so glad to know that I won't be asked to leave.

We did this in the WS. I bought a cs meal in China, and dh & the kids bought their cs meals in Germany. I walked to Germany with my Chinese lunch and we all sat together in the Germany's cs area to eat. No problems! I did have dh order me a drink from Germany when he ordered their food so I didn't have to carry my meal plus my drink. You might want to have all of the drinks ordered in the location where you'll be sitting together.

We do it at Worldshowcase all the time. No one cares--one nice thing we often do is all get our food from whereever we want and meet at the outside umbrella covered seating at the US pavillion.

There are no posted signs saying you can only eat food bought from whatever CS restaurant.

Not a problem. We once had our son get the nachos in Mexico, I got the egg rolls and beef fried rice in China, and my husband wanted a burger in America. My son and I just asked for our food to go and we ate back in America.

The best was this party of twelve. They met in America (which is a nice place to meet with the outdoor seating area) and each person brought something from each country. One person got the appetizers, another got the dessert, etc. Evidentially, it's a tradition with them.

We've done this many times, especially at AK. We've brought food from Flametree BBQ To Restaurantasarus and food from Restarauntasaurus to Tusker (when it was still CS). It's never been an issue.
