Can anyone tell me about Japan?

We have been to Tapen Edo before but have not been to the other restaurant. I think it is to the right of where you wait to be seated for Tapen Ed. Can anyone tell me if they take reservations? We really enjoyed to food at their other restaurant but would like to try this one. Does anyone have a dining review? Thanks

is located on the second floor. The restaurant has a variety of foods; grilled meat and fish, tempura, sushi and sashimi for example. It is my understanding that they do not take reservations.

I'm pretty sure they take reservations - we went there in Sep. and it was yummy - they cook all the food right in front of you - we will definitely go there again.

Both Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining take reservations.

Tokyo Dining definitely takes reservations. I was there last month and had a sushi combination entree which was fantastic. The only thing that surpassed the food in my experience was the service which was exceptional (Thank you Hae!).

Are either of these restaurants "Kanki-style" of dining? (Meaning you sit on the floor around the grill and they do the show while cooking it?

Book lunch at Tokyo Dining for 12 noon when they start serving. The entire staff comes out and does a formal greeting. It's kind of neat to see.
I do enjoy the sushi menu there. The Dynamite Roll and Volcano Roll are delicious!

We loved Tokyo Dining. Try to get a table next to the window. Last time we had the corner table, right up against both windows. The view is amazing!

Tokyo Dining is our favorite restauarant in the World Showcase. We have never had a bad meal there and service is always outstanding. They do take reservations, but last time we walked up and had to wait about 20 minutes. Not bad. We don't always like to be tied to a certain time.
