And what the benefits are? Dh and I are going to DW this September for a special anniversary trip and we are going to be on the DDP. We are planning to take the kids next March, but we will most likely stay offsite then because my parents will be with us and that is what they prefer.

So, since we'll be going twice in a year I'm wondering if it would be worth it to get an AP. Our September trip is only 5 days, but in March we will be going for 10 days. Thanks for any info!

A 5 day base ticket is $228.98 and a 10 day base is $239.63 for a total of $468.61 compared to an Annual Pass of $477.12 but the AP is a hopper. If you wanted to hop on both trips you would need to add that to EACH of your tickets at a cost of $47.93 per ticket.

If you wanted the Water Park and More option that would be $53.25 per ticket. You would need a premium AP to do water parks & PI on your AP and that would cost $616.64.

Another thing to consider is that you get free parking with an AP. I assume you'll rent a car for your offsite trip. I think parking is $11/day.

With an AP you can purchase membership in the Disney Dining Experience. It cost $65 but gets your 20% off most table service dining. You can use it with the DDP for out of pocket purchases and even on alcohol. It is good for a party of 10.





BUT be warned! AP can be VERY dangerous! They sit in your drawer calling your name and shouting "USE ME". It is very tempting to book another trip when your park tickets are already paid for.

Tell me about it, we bought AP's in April, and we did not even check out before we had booked 2 more trips.
