Can a PTR be therapeutic?YUP!!Addictive?**2/14-I'm home...**

great pictures, hhhhhhh what can you do with those lime green mickeys.

I like the one about taking pictures with it all over disney, hhhhhh what can we add to this.

I know, Not only taking pictures all over disney, but get a CM to hold it in pictures with you all over disney.

Try and get at least 5 pictures with CM's each day and your mickey head, then let them keep it and ask them to come to your report and say hello.

Well that might be pushing it, but you never know they might do it.

:cool2:

You are my picture guru:thumbsup2 You're coming up w/ great ideas.

I ask myself everyday when did my addiction to the DIS spin out of control?

Was it the day I didn't shower until 5pm or decided the PTR/TR forums were more important than eating?

Was it the day I said "Hey I need a binder"?

Was it the day I started emailing spreadsheets across the country to people I have never met?

Was it the day I promised some person on the DIS to FedEx her cookies from WDW?

OR was it TODAY?

Many people have their Home Depot stories. You know the ones..well certainly mine isn't much different than any other. After a long day at church and meeting after meeting, I was heading home fully expecting to crash once I got home.

Then I remembered that I wanted to stop by the Home Depot by my house for those Lime Green Mickeys. I really don't know what I'm going to do with them (although you're going to find out I figured out what to do w/ them;) ). I may have them on the back of my baseball caps. Who knows. But I had to have them. Unfortunately, the first Home Depot I went to was out. I had to call my roommate to find the next closest location and drove the extra 5 miles to the next location to pick some up. Yay...Lime Green

Once I was home, I relaxed for awhile and then decided I'd have a little pre trip fun w/ the LGMHs.

Here's Lime Green Mickey Heads meeting Binder for the first time:

Finally, the tongue makes a cameo w/ LGMH and me.

Okay I'm ready for that intervention.

Jordan? Jordan who? No, I'm not related to him... really. :rolleyes2

I love the LGMH pictures, the dog looks so thrilled by it :lmao:. Is your roommate going to kill you for posting pics on the net?

Love the binder idea, I can see you looking for the nearest Kinko's.

she saw them and she called me crazy but that's about it....not too bad.

So.....where were we? Ahhh..yes.

The travels of the LGMH and the Binder Buddy...

Today the Binder goes to work.

So I take the binder to work today and immediately get all these questions about it. A few people were actually impressed that I got the Disney font.:thumbsup2 They think I'm off my rocker, but truly, they thought that already.

So here are a few pictures at my desk. Notice the 10 year old monster that is my computer at church.

Notice the tongue. I swear to you I wasn't going to do the tongue, especially at church and it just popped out.

In the chapel on stage:

and in the "pews":

OK, you are addicted to the DISboards, addicted to Disney, and now addicted to having pics taken with your tongue out. I am afraid of the other addictions you haven't told us about .

I'll be happy to share a few more....Starbucks coffee, Dr Pepper, Lost, my cell phone(yes, I'm one of THOSE people), cheese, Tabasco sauce...to name a few.:thumbsup2

I have a confession... I have not seen even 1 episode of Lost :scared1:.

Cheese, Starbucks coffee, and Dr. Pepper are good :thumbsup2.

Is it sleep worthy?

You know how I am obsessed w/ sleeping pictures? Well, I guess I am obsessed w/ sleeping in general. We (Wendy, Derek and I) have had lengthy discussions about attractions that we feel allow for the best naps ergo the title, is it sleep worthy? or as my cousin just titled it, The Old Peoples' Guide to WDW. We based our ratings on A/C, seats and length of show.

Best in Show

American Adventure: Although it can be too cold in here sometimes, we feel the A/C allows for comfortable napping. Seats are very comfortable and the theatre is never full allowing for snoring, drooling to take place w/ minimal embarrassment. Show length: long. Napability: Very high.

Hall of Presidents: A/C doesn't seem as cranked up here which is fine. Seats while comfortable, are a bit harder than AA. Theatre also never very full, but it seems smaller so snoring and drooling and putting feet up may not be as easy here. Show length: longish. Napability: high.

Universe of Energy: A/C is nice in this show. Seats are very uncomfortable, but the floor of the vehicles work better(yes, I've done it and yes, I had a very nice nap). The attraction is usually sparsely attended, so you can usually have a whole row to yourself. Here's what makes this attraction best in show: SHOW LENGTH. You can get a 30 minute nap here.:thumbsup2 Napability: high.

Close, but no cigar

Spaceship Earth: A/C yup. Seats are not very comfortable, but the lighting is low. Snoring and drool factor pretty good as you have your own vehicle and the speakers are right at your ears. Show length: Longish. Napability: medium (the seats knock it down a peg).

Circle of Life: A/C check. Seats pretty darn comfortable. Attendance is mediocre so you can sprawl out. Show length: Medium. Just when you're getting into deep sleep. BAM. The show is over. Napability: medium.

Impressions de France: Good A/C. Seats are theatre seating, but pretty hard. Theatre is small so it's hard to get a good snore going, but the music is classical which is very conducive to falling asleep. Show length: Medium. Napability: Medium.

Muppets 3-D: The only 3-D attraction to make the list. We've seen this so many times that we go there specifically to nap. When Derek, Wendy and I were there in 2002, we sat down and were immediately out for the WHOLE show. Show length: Medium. Napability: Medium.

Honorable Mention: These attractions are not known for their napability, but someone in our group has managed to fall asleep while on these particular attractions:

Voyage of the Little Mermaid
Great Movie Ride
One Man's Dream (theatre seats very uncomfortable)
Carousel Of Progress. We like this show alot. This attraction is a heat buster more than a nap ride. We'll doze in this ride, but never fully fall asleep.

Hope this helps folks w/ their planning;)

OMG that is TOOO funny, when we were there in Jan, dh and I were talking about which ones were good break/nap rides for our return trip. LOL for us the COP was at the top of the list. That is the MOST boring attraction in the WORLD!

I love the binder going to church!

If you sit in the front row, you have the most room to stretch out.:thumbsup2

I love the binder going to church!

I have a feeling the binder will be popping up in a few other places over the next few months.;)

those church pics were awesome, very funny, Where should you take it next. HHHHHmmmmm, I am thinking, restaurants, tell them you are rating there service to Disneys for a column that you are writing, I bet you get some really good service.

Also loved the sleeping breakdown.

I can acount for the French pavilion movie, I was almost knocked out, you should have included a raiting on the music, that music will make a 4 year old on sugar fall down without a fight.
