Camping without ultimate pass

I am looking at going to FW thanksgiving 2002, but am not sure I want the complete Disney pass the whole time we are camping, so I am asking what to do?

Can I just "camp" for a week and get a 4 or 5 day hopper pass? I'm sure this has been asked and answered more than once (maybe twice), but how about it?

We stayed in one of the homes thanksgiving 2000, loved FW and now want to camp and relax some of the time we are there.

Yes! We are going this Aug just to use the last days left on tickets from earlier trips. Just book the campground only with-out a ticket package. As a matter of fact you can do that on any room.

That is the best part about a FW vacation. Just relaxing and doing the fun things within the campground. We always take time out to enjoy it.

We are ready to enjoy it this time. I have booked 6 nights (sun -sat) the week of thanksgiving 2002 in a pre spot!

I got a rate of 47 + tax (52.17) so now I have more questions.

What is the best spot on those loops for someone who has three girls (mom and 13 and 9), has a pop up (for now) is somewhat disabled (have bad hips) but will have a golf cart? (what a mouthful)

We will be taking christmas lights just for the fun of it and plan now on a four day hopper pass so we can do some things in the campground.

You have a preferred site reserved at that rate, thats an excellent rate for preferred if i read it right.

We like to get a site fairly close to the comfort station, i would recommend this to you, loop 300 is a preferred loop and the comfort station is in the middle of the loop a fairly short walk from most any site in the loop.

Our favorite is the 1400 loop i think 1433 close to campfire and close to comfort station.

On our first trip to FW we did not see much at all in the campground, now when we go we rarely go to the theme parks, on our most recent trip we mainly just enjoyed the campground and boy what a relaxing trip.
