Camera Lens's - How cheap?

Sorry this is not in teh photography section but thought it would get more responses here maybe??

Ive heard that electronics are cheaper in florida and was wondering how much roughly would a DSLR Lens be for a canon out there? (the specific one i'm after is 70mm - 300mm)

Can anyone give me a rough idea whether to buy now in england or get when i'm out in florida?

There are lots of places here in Orlando to buy a camera lens. I wouldn't buy at most of them though because they are too expensive. There is a great camera store in downtown Orlando Colonial http://www.colonialphotohobby.com/
