I was wondering if I upload my own photos to the photopass sight and order the CD, would those photos be included on the CD as well or just the ones from the photopass photographers. Thanks for your help, I've never purchased anything form the photopass website.

No, only the photos taken by the PhotoPass photographers will eb included on your CD.

Does anyone have one? I would like to see one before purchasing.

Probably this is the wrong thread since everyone here would know how to produce far better videos than on the Disney photopass site, but I will give it a shot.

On the photo pass site they show you the example, with music and lead in introductions. Really nicley done. I could never do that.

I feel I can do better on my own. For the photopass pictures, it's probably the cheapest way to include those pictures. You do have to spend a little time putting your pictures in order; so, they make the most sense. It's not totally automatic.

Anyone know when this photo was taken? I thought that photopass was relatively new, but I've gone pretty much every year from 2001-present, and I don't recall all the trees.

I'll have to dig out some of the older photos.

Thanks!

Does anyone have a fullsize version of a either of these photo's they'd be willing to share. The masked ones are fine, I just want to cut out the graphic of Stich and Hook. When we were there 2 weeks ago, I asked about these, and were told that they don't do them any longer. We were able to get Simba and Tink. I'd like to photoshop them into some pictures I took.

BTW, I'm sure I'll get flamed for requesting this, but I did ask the photographers and I did purchase a CD all by myself (no sharing), so I don't feel bad about asking for it. I'm not cheating WDW out of anything that I didn't ask for or wouldn't have paid for anyway.

Thanks!

I just got back and I was really disappointed that I couldn't get the Stitch picture too. Did they mention why they had stopped? The photographers I asked just said they couldn't do that picture anymore.

They didn't tell me why when I asked, just that they couldn't do them. Only Tink at Epcot/MK and Simba at AK.

BradK reported that he asked and they did away with Hook because of the Meet and Greet Photos with Jack Sparrow. Additionally, he said that since the graphics are manually inserted, that they often don't do them during peak times, because they can't keep up with the volumen. Since we aren't in a peak time, I'm not sure what the reason is.

this was taken in October 2001

Well, narrowing it down...

There's a huge size difference b/t the Velocity 6 (might be too small) and 7 (too large; I don't need that much room).
Here's the Velocity 7; I like that it has a "Tuck A Way" belt if you want to carry it around your waist instead of as a sling..

Looking at the Express 6; nice little bag...comes in a neat tan suede color too

Hmmm...a few more window shopping trips to Ritz and Circuit City to compare...:rolleyes1

Anyone have photopass pictures they wouldn't mind posting so that I can see how good of pictures they are? I'm trying to decide whether or not to purchase the photopass cd for when we go in 3 weeks and I would really appreciate seeing some examples! Thanks!!

My husband has this one and loves it! It's not a camera bag, persay, but it holds his S2 and all his other "stuff" and also a water no problem. It sits very comfortably on his fanny. It's pretty big, but there's also a bigger one too.

There are lots of bags on the website if you search around (under Luggage and Travel).

We were lucky and found someone that was just finishing a charater shoot and they had some extra time on their hands. He took a lot of pictures of us.

of course i need to ask, the bag or the fanny?:rotfl2: ;)

LOL, Jan. I meant the bag. As Goldilocks would say - his fanny's just right. :lmao:

Hey guys,
I am looking for a holster bag (well, I actually haven't started looking yet...thought I'd ask here first) for my Nikon D50. I have a huge tarmac backpack that holds everything- but I definitely don't want to carry that around the parks. I really just want a bag that will hold the camera with the 28-80mm lens (is it too much to ask for a holster that would hold my camera with the 70-300mm lens?) Any suggestions?? Thanks!! :)

this is the one i was going to get for my canon and 70-200 lens...not sure how the size of that lens compares with the nikon 300. i think the biggest lens mentioned here is about 7.5+ inches long
http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Lowepro-Toploader-65-AW-Review.aspx
if that is too small they have a couple larger ones...( husband , the carrrier, wanted another type bag so i ended up with the tamrac system 3 which i like and can be piggybacked on a rolling suitcase, shoulder bag or attached to a belt although i think it would be heavy that way. that holds my 6' 70-200 f4 on my rebel xt body ( think the rebel is a little smaller than the nikon?)with no problem( and another 3-4 lenses if i want )
