now I REALLY have some questions. Somehow I missed this March 20th deadline thingee prolly because I was too busy planning trips
Anyways, I've been thinking about purchasing in BLT but now what to do, Re-Sale or Direct?
I do like the idea of
using points for cruise, tokyo disney, disney paris and also having options of staying in "collection hotels."
My concern, since I plan on buying a smaller contract (100 points) and maxing out at maybe 175 is the whole idea of loyalty tiered perks....I know I know Disney's perks are just that--not written in stone, but if I bite the bullet and buy direct and later down the road some of the direct perks become reserved for higher end contract holders, well....that ain't so magical.... I just got this wonky vibe from talking to salesperson that even buying direct I shouldn't count on being able to book Disney Dream on points?
I thought that was the whole POINT of the club as I've understood from previous sales pitches? This was REALLY disturbing to me? I actually discussed today paying cash for a contract today and felt this vibe?
Also, the current direct BLT incentives are pretty non existant--they act like it's such good deal giving you current UY points and next years? I'm not excactly stupid? So wondering if I should buy a smaller BLT resale contract (probably stripped) for future long weekend kindof trips like MNSSHP etc. and wait for a GFV or
Poly or buy direct for BLT and hope that this tiered loyalty thing doesn't get ugly?
thoughts?
thanks!

I do understand tho it is a timeshare and the deed is a guarantee at a home property, just lamenting what seems to a harder bottom line and a perception of maybe less value, especially given past marketing of
