Halloween costumes ordered for the kids! We are ready for the MNSSHP!

Btw, if your kids want to be Jesse from Toy Story, start looking now. They were all back ordered in the sizes we wanted so the girls opted for different costumes. I just worried that the back order date was too close to when we were leaving.

Are you talking about the Afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian? We did that (with three generations - grandparents, me, kids) and had a very nice time. We did wear some of our 'nicer' clothes (which is just relative in terms of Disney!) and the girls wore their princess dresses but you don't need to dress up. Have fun!

Our Disney visits for the past several years have been all about the food . This year it's going to be all about "Food & Poly". (the parks are just an extra perk )
So...... to get ready for our trip we planned dinner around our upcoming stay. Last night we had grilled Garlic/Lemon Shrimp & Filet Mignon. Tonight we had grilled Hawaiian Pineapple & Pork Kabobs & a side of Citrus Infused Couscous with pine nuts & dried cranberries. (this was a good one) I can hardly wait to see what I come up with for tomorrow :

19 days to go here. Starting to line up the non-essentials...our duplicates of toiletries and stuff. The weather is turning cooler so I should be able to start packing the kids' shorts and stuff.

And I keep pulling up the Orlando area. I love it: every day is the same - high of 92 low of 74. Straight across the board. So much better than here...high of 68 and low of 49. Brrrrr...

I agree with you dragonfly, the weather here stinks too. Low of 50, high of 62 with rain. The Orlando heat and humidity is going to be a real shock! The summer clothes have all been packed away, a lot of them in a suitcase!!!

I can't believe I am thinking this or even saying it...but I'm starting to wonder if I need more time before vacation I just have so much to do and suddenly we are 11 days away.

I placed my order for the garden grocer yesterday. Hopefully i don't overfill the suitcases so we don't have room to bring home our souvenirs. Last time, we used the space where the diapers were for that.

We've decided to take DD8 out of school early on Friday and get a head start on our drive. Woo HOOO!!!

Last minute shopping will be happening this weekend and then I should be ready to go.
