I agree with Lauren.. WDW is the perfect place to escape reality! I have a screen shot of the poly pool area when it's empty as my desktop at work, and i tell the girls i work with on a daily basis, which one is "my lounge chair" - right in the sun, between the sand and the bar. LOL That is MY chair. But, i guess i could make room for Lauren and her dh.. LOL

I captured the empty LGMH with the crown that Stacy made and put 2009 in the crown and Inaugural Princess Half Marathon in the head and made an iron on about 3 in in diameter and put it on the front of my shirt. Looks pretty good. On the back of the shirt I have an iron on of a black mickey head and Princess Aurora.

Hear ye, hear ye! Your royal highness has purchased a Disney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend Happily Ever After Party Ticket, for the evening of March 8, 2009 at Disney's Hollywood Studios™. In a few days, you shall be arriving at the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort to take part in a weekend full of magic and a celebration that will be the perfect end to your fairytale! Here's some last minute information on where to pick up your party tickets, how to be transported to the party and what to do while in Disney’s Hollywood Studios™. We look forward to greeting you at the Happily Ever After Party!

Party Ticket Pick Up
You can’t enter the party without your ticket, so don't forget to pick up your ticket(s) from the Happily Ever After Party Booth at the Jostens® Center at Disney's Fit for a Princess Expo, open March 6 – 7. Do you need extra party tickets? Happily Ever After Party tickets will be on sale at the expo.
Your Pumpkin Awaits
Special event motor coach transportation shall be available from all resorts on property to the Happily Ever After Party from the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Guests staying at the following resorts shall be transported using watercraft transportation from the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
• Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel
• Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts
• Disney’s Boardwalk Inn

Hello girls! Just checking in on everyone!!! SIL and I had to push out our 8 miler from Sunday to this past Tuesday so yesterday was a rest day.

I've been trying to decide which pair of shoes to wear. One is neutral and one is more supportive shoes, but it seems to be too supportive and push me to use the outside of my feet more. I wore them for the Half in January, and after doing 8 miles in my neutrals, I think I will still wear the more supportive one for the Half. I will take both pair and maybe wear one in the park and the other for the races.

I am getting so excited! Next week this time, I will in the Animal Kingdom riding EE!!! Whoo Hoo!!!

Hope everyone is getting excited!!! Don't forget to check your batteries or charge them the night before the race...like I did in January. Apparently the Garmin can come on by itself during travel...

Oh...Did we decide on a meeting place before the races??? Since most of will not be wearing our all lime green WISH shirts, I'm thinking it may be harder to spot each other... I'll be in black capri's with a running skirt over it and probably a white shirt. Still trying to figure out what to wear...

to anyone who has had their child in the kids races before - do the kids need to be present at packet pickup? I was wondering b/c if i didn't have to take dd to the expo with me, i would prefer not to, but if i have to i guess i could..
Although, i am thinking, now they said that you can pick up the kids race stuff at Epcot Sat. a.m. before the race, which if dd has to be there, may just as well work out.

Hey all. I just popped in to say that I booked an airfare to come down next weekend! Yippee! Bad news is....the Royal Family 5k is full! I am not mentally or physically prepared to do the half, so I guess no running for me. Unless of course someone knows some secret way to get into the 5k race?

Anyway, hope to pop over to POR to see people--although I'm signed up for a Passholder thing on the Muppets, so we'll see.

I will try to get up and cheer for people on Sunday--may be going to Ocala to see my niece ride in a horse show.

7 days to go....yes!

As for the 'W' tent, in the family reunion area there will be small tents with signs on them showing parts of the alphabet (example A-D, E-H, etc). Find the one that includes W and meet there.
