We are staying till Monday...We plan on dong all the parks but especially Typhoon..that is my DSS favorite. Kate hasn't been there since she was about 2..it should be good times.

We are eating at Sci Fi on Saturday for lunch and then Japan on Saturday night. I am getting excited!

I've never been to Typhoon. Maybe next time.

Last time we were there we ate at the "Mom's diner" or something...I can't remember the name. My friend said it was great and the servers were funny, etc. Our was a dud!!! We'll try Sci Fi next time. I heard that was cool.

I'm getting exciting for you, too. Wish we were there. Having just a dreary, stressful week and wish I was visiting the mouse, too.

Morning...48 hours to go!! Woo Hoo!!

I really need to pack tonight...last night I went to Target for water socks for the kids and some misc. stuff. Rick is on duty tomorrow, so I will have to finish alone. He gets off Friday morning at 8am then we leave!! WOO HOO!!

Ok...Doing some last minute packing. Don't know if I will be able to post once I am there.. DH did something to the NEW laptop and I had to do a recovery last night. Bah!!

Hi girls .... Just think Betsy is in WDW and here we are at hme.

DH is home tonight and is super tired they had a big house fire last night . So he will be stretched out I'm sure . Then of course it is the weekend so my Sweet little perfect Nephew in the bottom of this post is over. I will have 4 yr old toes in my ear again .... Awww I live for the weekend !

I'm back girls...(and guys, Dan-included of course ) I haven't been on in a couple days. Had DD's first communion party on Saturday. It was nice but the mass was really crowded. We have a big parish and there were at least 75 kids making their 1st communion and more next week. (Thank God it's done though). had her party at the firehouse with 80+ people there. It was fun.

Went to camp on Saturday night and stayed until Sunday...(so I'm really roughing it there with no internet access, ) Anyhow, from now on i'll only be on during the week because YEAH it's camp season.

Hey Betsy...how was your trip? Maybe you're not back yet. I thought you said Monday....hope it was fun and let us know how it went!!! Talk to you all later. I have to work now.

Got Flag Family this morning at WL..It was so great!!

Laptop is fried...need to take it to CompUSA...thank god we have a warranty. DH takes it to the station all the time, so I think that something happened there.

Yes, DH has 2 New Yorkers as well-I don't know any guys in the department who use the town issued ones-they're plastic-one good knock on the head and they're useless.
I dont know why he needed to buy TWO helmets though..or why he needed to go out and buy himself a second set of gear...

Plus my DH says he needs to get a new NY'er next year...it has to be white. (He is running for the next chief position). His current one is red because he is Captain. Give me a break. CAn't we just PAINT the old one????

LOL! in my brother's FD they paint the rim of their helmets white if they are Lt(my brother is) or Capt. The Chief goes out and buys a whole new helmet.
Jim, my husband is a Lt. and *had* to buy a new white shield(uses the same black helmet)..when he's capt he'll *have* to get a new shield for that as well. They love to soend their $$$ on fire stuff!
He goes to the fire convention in Baltimore every July and comes home with ropes and lights and all sorts of paraphernelia-I almost fall over when he tells me how much they cost. Who needs a $100 flashlight!?

We have a state Fire Chief's convention every year at the NY State Fair that DH goes to, too. I understand what you mean about buying all the "fire stuff". If you have to have an addiction...I guess it is better than being a drug addict or something.

I really kinda like the way DH clothes smells after a fire - I know I'm crazy but I can't help it.
