Is there anywhere in the World to get a good (or hopefully great) latte? Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, lattes are a staple....

Thanks!!

I have to be honest with you....I couldn't wait to leave Disney on our last trip so that I could go home and have a great cup of coffee. Good Luck! Del

I've heard the Kona cafe at the Poly has good coffee, but I haven't tried it yet.

I know what you mean about the NW, I'm on the East Coast originally from the Rockies and I haven't had a good cup of coffee in 5 years.

Bring your own coffee to Disney - The coffee there is atrocious. I'm not from the NW, but I enjoy a good cup & it ain't happening at WDW. Been bringing our own for 12 years.

at WDW. Kona Cafe at the Poly has excellent coffee..it's the exception. Also, right outside the restaurant there is a coffee bar island so you don't have to actually eat at the restaurant to get the coffee. The Dolphin's food court, Tubbi's, serves Starbucks coffee. Other than that, we coffee drinkers are screwed! Bringing your own isn't a bad idea..I never thought about that.

The Kona Cafe in the Poly has good coffee. The Contemporary also has a decent coffee bar - certainly not as good as some local places, but along the lines of Starbuck's et. al.

HTH!

The coffee is terrible. We go to the Dolphin for Starbucks and Kona is good. I have seen so many complaints about the coffe wouldn't you think WDW would change to something decent? I bet coffee suppliers would beat down the door to get the business.

Not as long as Nestle is a sponsor.

Agree with generally bad coffee. Kona is ok but it's a hike if you're not at the Poly. I didn't know there was a Starbucks at the Dolphin so that's great news for me! Thanks for the tip.

I may be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure the coffee at the outer bar is Kona blend. You have to go into the restaurant to get the 100% Kona pressed pot coffee. It is most excellent and worth the trip. I have had coffee all over the world, and I rank this among the best.

There's not a Starbucks at the Dolphin - Tubbi's in the Dolphin SERVES Starbucks (but not any of the specialty drinks - just straight up house blend Starbucks)

I agree, Lattes are a must when you're from the Pacific NW. Hi, I'm from Oregon. :flower: The Kona Cafe has great coffee. I drink Kona Coffee every morning at home, so I highly recommend getting your latte from the Kona Cafe or even the coffee bar from the Polynesian Resort. The coffee bar is right next to the Kona Cafe. :goodvibes

I think I chime in on all the coffee threads.............don't drink alcohol so coffee is my form of "cocktails on the balcony". I just bring my own coffee beans and grinder and have gone as far as shipping the french press for a really good cup!!I have had the coffee at Kona Cafe, its OK but I do not find it worth a trip there (love the food though!!).I have eaten at Fresh at the Dolphin which does serve Starbucks but it is their house blend and not really strong enough for my tastes. I really prefer a dark roast for a nice delicious cup. I think we all are aware of WDW's affiliation with Nestle but hoping at some point they can get a Starbucks or Peets kiosk or something somewhere on property!!Please!!!! ::MinnieMo

Sorry, I should have been more clear. Starbucks coffee is served at Tubbi's. I believe it is also available at the coffee bar in the Swan.
I'm sure Nestle is a great sponsor...just add a few places for a good cup throughout the world. At least we wouldn't have to travel to S&D.
