Good Afternoon Everyone! :flower3: It is officially official... my flights are booked and I'm staying at All Star Sports. Never stayed there before but I've stayed at Movies and Music so now I can say I've stayed at all the All Stars... I'm so excited!

MAC ~ Have a magnificent trip! :yay:

stitch, momto1 and tigg ~ :wave2

Hope everyone is doing well!

Disneygal you are so lucky!

Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers.

yesterday I went to the State's attorney office and dropped the charges. The notoriety was a sarcastic nasty old man who really gave me a hard time Not sure what his problem was.:confused3

Sure hope I did not make a mistake. DH's counselor said his levels should be fairly good now after two weeks. Sure hope she is right since she and others has given me bad advice in the past. We are not suppose to be in communication with each other but somehow he calls here. A lot!!! Too much. Every 10-15 minutes for hours on end until we had too much and shut off the ringers. Yesterday I answered one of his calls and regretted it.

We only spoke for minutes and at first he was his "old self" kind, loving. Said he missed us and was crying himself to sleep often. Tugging at my heart strings. The conversation went well for a few more seconds than turned ugly. He accused me of lying to him telling him every day that I'd be there to bond him out and he's be out that morning. I told him that was not true.

Then he barks at me if you do not get me out this second our marriage is over! I am filing for a divorce the minute I get out. I just said, oh okay. Bye and hung up. I haven't talked to him since. He is constantly constantly calling. I wonder if they watch the inmates at all there??:confused3

I am also wondering if he is in fact getting his meds??:confused3 Or taking them if they are handing them to him. Sure hope I did not make a big mistake dropping the charges and he is released and starts his nonsense all over again. I can not afford his spending sprees and I can not handle staying awake 24/7 because of DD being afraid he will do something. It eats me up alive that DD is afraid of her own father and does not trust him any more. :sad2:

As I have said our lives is a nightmare. Bi Polar is an evil horrible mental illness! It is destroying us.

Good Morning Everyone! :flower3 I can't believe I almost forgot to make our ADRs for our Anniversary trip! :scared1: Need to do that first thing tomorrow morning! :cool1:

Susan ~ I am so sorry to hear your struggles! You are in my thoughts.

Hello, Chicagoland friends! I haven't posted on this thread in awhile, but read it often, and try to keep up as best as I can.

Stitchfans..you and your family are in my thoughts. Please keep us updated on what's going on.

Geff..I am glad to hear that you are *healing*. May it go more quickly for you! (On a side note, nowhere near what you are going thru, but I came home from our Disney trip and now have been diagnosed with plantar fascia-something or other, and am limping around like a little 'ol lady!)

Mac... I know I missed you, but I hope you are having an incredibly wonderful vacation!

Disneygal...now you can have fun with all of the planning! Enjoy!!!

Tigger...Hello!!

Shout out to all! Hope everyone is staying warm in this cool early fall weather! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!:goodvibes

I came home from our Disney trip and now have been diagnosed with plantar fascia-something or other, and am limping around like a little 'ol lady!)

Ouch! I feel your pain! I dealt with that for years. Started out with anti-inflammatories, then moved to heel cups. Both helped, but eventually wasn't enough. I eventually realized that cheap shoes were my worst enemy and started wearing Rockport Prowalkers. I used to fly to WDW, then immediately head for the Rockport outlet on International Drive for a brand new pair before ever stepping foot in the parks. These were great for several years, but eventually, my plantar fasciitis got worse (mostly because the shoes would wear out internally, and I wasn't wearing them 24/7).

I now have a pair of custom orthotics from my podiatrist. Brand new Rockports alone work great at first, but once the insole wears out, I slip my custom orthotics into them.

After running through Frankfort airport a few times last March wearing Crocs, it was really flaring up. They finally used ultrasound to guide the needle right into the inflammation and injected cortisone. So far, so good. But I'm always careful to wear my Rockports if I know I'll be doing a lot of walking.

Happy Monday everyone! :flower3: So Saturday was my ADR day for our Anniversary trip... Mike set the alarm for 5:50 so we'd be up right at 6 and ready to call... BUT... he forgot to hit save and the alarm didn't go off. No worries though b/c my inner alarm clock went off at 6:58 and I woke up and ran to my laptop. we got all of our choices at prime dinner time! I was SHOCKED, especially b/c we are going at peak spring break season. We are doing Narcoossee, Biergarten, Ohana, breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Les Chefs de France, Yak and Yeti, and wait for it..................... VICTORIA AND ALBERTS!!!!:cool1: I'm so excited!

Hope everyone is doing well! :wave2:

Hi all! Just a very quick drive by.

disneygal - congrats on scoring all your ADRs! How exciting.

DonnaW - yikes! hope your foot heals quickly, I know it can be very painful.

sitichfans - thinking of you and hoping things improve for you soon.

Have to run!! Have a great night all......:flower3:

Looks like some of our prayers might be answered. We got an offer on our house up north and now have a contract on it. The closing if all goes well will be on the 25th. I think I may of received my miracle.

I felt like scum. I went to the jail to get DH to sign all the papers so I could fax them out yesterday. I then afterward gave the guard my Capital One credit card to bond DH out. To my confusion, it was denied. :confused3 Don't understand why. We still have plenty of credit on it and I have been making the minimum payments. I am afraid of calling them for fear there is some bad news with it and they will hound me like the other card that I can not continue to make payments on.

DH no doubt thinks I used him and abandoned him. Sure hope the guards tells him what had happened. His court date is the 18th. From what I have heard since I dropped the charges there is no evidence so it should be done and over with. Sure hope that is true.

There is a festival going on in town here called Catskins Day. We are going to a chili dinner tonight and then walk around to see the sights. There is a small carnival with rides, food, music, so on. Tomorrow there is more to see and do with longer hours. At least now we can have some fun and something to do for a change. Better run along to get ready. Hope you all have a great a great weekend. Talk to you later.

Hi everyone!!! :wave2:

I've been totally MIA, and I am sorry about that :grouphug:

I've become totally addicted to facebook - I love having all my updates not only from my friends, but also from all the businesses I subscribed to.

Things are here are busy, and crazy as normal.
Stephanie has been diagnosed with moderately severe ADHD, and 6th grade is not treating her very well. The school work is hard, and when you can't focus on anything for more than 5 minutes, it's even harder. She is medicated, and we are trying to find the appropriate level of medication to give her, which makes the process very slow. I've told her that this is God's challenge for her, and to embrace it, and work really hard to overcome it, and if she keeps the right attitude, she'll be fine. That's easier said than done sometimes though, and she gets down in the dumps, but she'll be okay :)
(all my facebook fans, please don't mention this on facebook, because she wants to keep this private - thanks!!!)

I'm still having issues with my foot, and I scheduled surgery for Dec 29th. The surgery is going to severe the planta fascia from the heel, in hopes that it will repair itself properly. I sure hope this works:wizard:, because I am so tired of always being in chronic pain.

Katie is doing well - nothing new with her.

Kevin is also doing well - nothing to new with him either.

Well, I'm sorry I gotta post and run, but I have to get back to work.
The store has been pretty steady which is nice, and I'm hoping it lasts until Christmas :santa: (even though I've been pretty dead the last couple of days, but I still have a ton of work to do).

Have a good day!!!

Slo - Great to see you!!! My son was disagnosed with ADD in 6th grade, too. He started meds 3 years ago on October 9th and we can look back and say that was the day that changed our lives. I really don't know how we or he made it though the first 11 years! Not to say the life is perfect for him - far from it - but at least better. He is smart as whip and extremely disorganized that despite many, many organization systems have not worked for him. He can now joke about having ADD.

Susan - Good luck with the sale of the house. Sounds like you were ready to have some fun this weekend.

Hi to everyone else!
Lori

Hello, Chicago! I love fall! I love the changing seasons, the cooler temps, the colorful trees...but, do you think the whole thing could slow down just a *tad*?? Seems like the trees just started changing colors, and lots of them are already lacking leaves. Makes me sad, because I don't love winter, and winter is next, and winter is long, and winter is yucky!!!

Crissup: Thanks for sharing your experience with the dreaded plantar fas. I am supposed to be getting my custom orthotics (read expensive, thankfully insurance covers some of it) this week. Ugh, no fun to get older, is it?!

Stitchfans: how was the festival in your town? Hubby and I went up to Door County Wisconsin last weekend for their fall festival, and it was great fun (although a bit challenging for me to walk around cuz yeah, it kind of hurt at times!) Hope all goes well with the sale of the house.

Disneygal: you will have to let us all know about your experience at V&A..how exciting for you!

ID: Thanks for the good wishes for my foot ailment...it will get better soon, it will get better soon, it will get better soon...there ya go, power of positive thinking!

Slo: So good to hear from you! I hope things look up for Stephanie soon. I like the attitude, though! I really hope the surgery helps for you. Please keep us posted on how things go.

Geffric: how is *your* foot? Seems like we have a community of folks with foot issues here!

Momto1, Tigger, and everyone who resides here....hope you all have a wonderful evening, a good weekend, and a great week!:cool1:

Good evening everyone! Went downtown today. DD is dancing in the Joffrey ballet's Nutcracker this Christmas season, so we have rehearsals on some weekends. Went to the new Disney store on Randolph Street. Neat place, but I am disappointed that most of the stores are carrying so much stuffed stuff! I did get the free pin from my Visa offer. A nice little Tink pin for DD to add to her collection. It was a beautiful day to walk around the city. We wandered over to Rainforest Cafe for lunch before heading back to the train.
Stitch, hope all goes well with the sale of your house.
Mac, are you back?
DG, I think I will just miss you at WDW.
Getting harder to keep the secret from the kids. And I have to say, sharing the planning is so much more fun.
Well, off to fix a little bite to eat and then watch a movie with DH. We have a rare evening alone!!!

Happy Weekend everyone! :flower3: i have been a little under the weather lately... we think it's just allergies though. I just wish they would go away. I'm going to a group interview tomorrow at the Disney Store as part time/seasonal help. I wish they had a full time position open... we will see. :)

Stitch ~ congrats on the house. Hope everything goes well.

Donna ~ i agree. i love fall but i feel the change is too fast!

Tigg ~ Congrats to DD on the Nutcracker! How exciting! I've been meaning to stop by the new Randolph street Disney Store on my lunch but things have been very crazy. Too bad we will just miss each other in the motherland!

Hope everyone is doing well! :wave2:

Hi guys! Busy days here too. Going to an open house at Benet Academy tomorrow with DD13. Trying to decide where to go to high school. Went to the orchard last weekend, it was beautiful and fun but expensive. ;) Next weekend we have a wedding and a day trip to St.Louis for an Irish dance thing.

disneygal - hope you're feeling better soon. DH has been having a terrible time with allergies lately too.
*best of luck with the interview. Would love to work at TDS. :lovestruc

Tiggerrn - congrats to DD on the Nutcracker. I think DD9s ballet teacher is also dancing in that Nutcracker. Sounds like you had a very nice day downtown, sure was nice!

Donna - I love fall too!! Also like Halloween and Tgiving. Only problem is that I know it means winter is coming and I hate, hate, hate winter. :headache:

slo - good to see you around here again!
*Best of luck on the foot surgery!
**Hope things get better for Stephanie, trying to find the 'right' meds can be challenging but once they work it gets better.

stitchfans - congrats on selling the house. Hope it all goes well.
*How was the festival?

Hope everyone is enjoying our beautiful fall! :flower3:

back from my vacation and i really need to go on another one real quick..

once i have some free time, i'll read back and give a shout out to all the homies here.

i glanced through and noted how serious some of the situations are for youse.
 for all of youse homies here...

since i have returned, i have done zero on the house, formerly referred to as the dump i live in.
Mr Mac cleaned the entire time i was gone and did the laundry and cat care.
I knew he would be a keeper some day..........

off to see the parental units in a few minutes.

i think i have spent more time with them since i returned than my own dump.

but, i do sleep in my bed at night which is a plus.

you all take care and i will be back with the tv listings tonight and replies to ketchup here.
