an update from my corner of IllinoisDSIL and DN went with friends to see the Lion King downtown and (finally) eat at Rainforest in Schaumburg location. Loved Both
DH and I visited DS last weekend; he is in grad school at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. That city is so beautiful and CLEAN. Wonderful place. He'll be there until mid 2013, so we'll have lots of time to explore it. DD is now a junior in college in the "quad cities". She was Princess Peach for Halloween and I enjoyed constructing her pink ball gown with a little help from a prom dress I found at Goodwill for $1.49Sun is shining...a beautiful crisp fall day here--we're going for brunch soon.

Speaking of colleges, my brother got accepted to Arizona and Kansas. He's waiting to hear back from UofI. He will probably go to Arizona. They are giving him $5k a year and an ipad.

Good Morning Everyone! If anybody knows someone who is hiring in the Orland Park area, please let me know. I had been having some problems at work and finally came to a mutual agreement with HR which allowed me to be released from my full time job. I don't really want to go into details but I will say, while I am slightly stressed about no longer having a full time job and we need to pay bills and such, I am VERY happy I no longer have to put up with what I had for the past couple months. I feel like a big weight has been lifted off. I am looking on the bright side of things and at least i will have TDS part time.

dzneelvr ~ I went to school in northeast iowa and have several friends from the Rochester area and some who even did internships at Mayo. It is beautiful up there.

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to pop by and say hello! I have fortunately been able to pick up some extra shifts at TDS this week. I know the hours won't always be available so I'm taking what I can, when I can! I really have enjoyed my first week there! Hope everyone is doing well!

Hi everybody just stopping by for a quick update and hello. We closed on our house up north this past Friday. The funds were not available right away. .
We should get it soon though

We got some money from an insurance claim but DH has gone through that. We are in the red. He claims he is well and taking his meds. Does not look like it to me. He spends all his time with his friends and none with us. These so called friends are taking advantage of him knowing he is mentally ill. He is seeing his new doctor and therapist, plus going to group therapy but it does not seem to be doing any good.

He is destroying us. The only way I save us is to divorce him and get him out of our lives. It kills me to say this but I have no other choice. As long as my name is linked to his I will go down with him. I have to protect DD and me.

This is not how I saw my life going.
