Donna! Will you be there Sat, 5/8? If so, we MUST schedule a before meet - casual dinner/late lunch, whatever! Must see you both! And, I'll have our dear friend of 16 years, and Kelly's now-coach, with me!KIM, SK8LEIGH...we are going to Stars on Ice, too, but we have the "cheap seats", LOL...we are up in the balcony!

Been busy with the powder room makeover which is now virtually complete, just need to hang the towel bar and tp holder. DH has had his Nat'l Sales Conference this week, thankfully in Chicago but it may as well be out of town as he leaves at 6am and doesn't get back from the city until around 10p. Tomorrow is the last day thankfully, tough one too he's taking his group to the Cubs game.
DD13 has been a godsend, she's babysat and made dinner the past two nights while I worked and DH was gone.
to everyone else!
I'd called and inquired but never heard back so today I emailed one of the coordinators. They have them - YAY!
I was just about resigned to getting a new pair. Now I just have to see if my friend's son who's a senior there can pick them up for me so I don't have to make a trip into the city for them.
This DIS DOES NOT cooperate with my computer anymore.
It always has some sort of delay, which makes it very hard to post.
I have a huge problem with UTUBE too - I can't watch most videos, because there are always these huge pauses - Kevin says the files are to big, and our computer is to old...
to everybody else.OK Donna, despite the fact you're a Sox fanKim & Leigh.. YES, we are going to Stars on Ice on May 8th! We woud love to try to get together with you guys before the show...don't have a clue what's in the area, though?? Let me know what you think would work!
What did you guys think of Evan on dancing last night? I thought the judges were a tad too harsh.
Hello to all chicagoland...today is dancing results and idol singing...reality show night at our house (especially since I just saw LOST is a rerun & the SOX game is on a channel I can't get on the DVR!)
- I still love ya & miss ya & want to see you 5/8!!! And Leigh too!!
Donna, is Mark coming?Where was this Meet? Didn't anyone think to invite old-timers?Went to a DIS meet last sunday April 16ish but could stay since eric needed to be at work at 11..
Kim - let me know where and what time to meet on Sunday June 20 at MK..

Afternoon sometime? We have CM at 10:35 and LeCeliier at 5:30, but then, back to MK after that as well. Maybe late night? Park Hoppers!!! DS was injured in baseball while I was out of town on business. My guilty mommy moment. DH took charge and got him taken care of and on the road to recovery. He injured his knee but during the xrays and mri they discovered he has a degenerative bone disease - OCD. So he is physical therapy 3x a week for 90 minutes strengthening the kneee and muscles. He hopes to be back in baseball in 4 weeks which is like a lifetime to him. His junior high volleyball career ended too soon though.
Lori
Lori! I know the guilt - it wasn't your fault tho. I also had a friend with OCD (OCD is so much easier than trying to spell that!) More
id, I only work 6 hours a week and it's such an inconvenience sometimes!Very busy here too, who would have thought that working 16hrs a week would throw such a wrench into everything!![]()
Donna - I agree that they were a bit harsh on Evan. So far the eliminations have been going the way I've wanted them to go, hope it keeps up!

Never heard of ANY of this!So I lurk in this thread once in a while and I see this:
I know nothing about your PC or its condition, but
if you have old PC, do this: first install CCLeaner from HERE: and run it. Itll clean all the garbage from your PC. This will include all the passwords remembered by your PC, so make sure you know all those log in names and passwords you need.
Then install and run Malwarebytes from HERE: and run it.
Whatever AntyVirus software youre using, Id replace it with Avast! 5.0 (or under All Downloads you can find older version 4.8 if you have a really old PC,). Its a very good AV, Im using it myself. And its Free for home use, must register and theyll e-mail you the Key.
At the end, Id uninstall all those programs that we never want to get rid off, but its been at least 1 or 2 years since the last time we used it.
After that, defrag the hard drive.
PM me if you need more help, I don't visit this thread too often.
Beware, imho!

Please post if you think you can make it, and we will decide on a good time for all (the show we are giong to is at 7:30 p.m., so before that would work out well!)Ditto, ditto, ditto! Culver's is in the same shopping center as Chili's, Steak & Shake, Target etc., just North of the Allstate (I was gonna say Horizon -Kim...I think Culvers would work out fine, just need to figure out exactly where that is. Yes, Mark will be going with me.
And, I think it would be GREAT and I would LOVE to open this little "Chicago meet" to *anyone* who is free and would like to come and visit...so, everyone, check your calendars...if you are free on Saturday May 8th, plan to spend a little time with some Chicago peeps!!!Please post if you think you can make it, and we will decide on a good time for all (the show we are giong to is at 7:30 p.m., so before that would work out well!)
) OPEN AWAY!!! ITA!!! DAN MURPHY come on! 4:30-5pm meet?
DISers come whenever, but I think the 'skaters'
should leave about 6:45 the latest.
Thanks for getting the word out!

pc- sooo glad you had fun at Prom!!! What did we All tell you?!Last night was prom for me, tons of fun. It was at Crystal Garden at Navy Pier then we had Post Prom on one of the charter boats. Long night, I got home around 4 this morning. I'm glad I went; it was a fun time with my friends. AP tests and finals start soon but I'm mostly done with school. Yay!
Oh and Dancing with the Stars...I like Erin and Maks. Okay, I love Maks mostly...![]()
Best wishes on AP tests and finals!
MY personal opinion - Nicole, Evan, and Erin, in that order - sooooo, people need to vote on Monday night!!
Call the non-emergency police number and they tell me to take it to City Hall on Monday and they'll "take care of it". Well, just came from there and the "best they can do" is reduce the ticket fine to $12.50.
Ugh, it's much easier to deal with things when you can blame someone else.
to everyone else!!
