Quick question for y'all. I'm heading on a day trip to Chicago with my son this Saturday. Doing either Shedd or Field's starting around 11:00, and of course, pizza. May try Lou's on South State Street since it's one of the closest (per mapquest, anyhow!). I've read the big name pizza places in Chicago can have LONG waits. Do you think a Saturday evening (6-7) is doable? I need to be back at the bus at Navy Pier by 10 p.m. Or would you sacrifice some museum time to go mid-afternoon (2-3?). Pizza is my son's top priority.

Welcome to Chicago! If you go for pizza at 6, get served by 7, you'll be fine for 10pm bus - imho!

Ello everyone! Things are been crazy around here, just popping on and in out most nights with no time to say hey. School is a little intense, as I'm trying to finish up everything and AP testing is coming up. Just a little stressful right now. Plus prom is coming up. I am going, in a group that actually has nearly everyone of my friends in it. So I'm happy; my dress came in yesterday, found it super cheap from Kohls with 99cent shipping! Well, it's playoff hockey time so until next time

Hi guys! Wow, the past few weeks have been a blur. Vacation, trying to catch-up after vaca, make-up homework, starting new job and then to top it off DH and I started pulling down wallpaper in the powder room. Phew!

Should have been working in the bathroom today but since it was nice and next week is "free garbage" week DH and I worked in the garage getting rid of all that "stuff" that accumulates. The scavengers have already been around and some of our stuff is already gone.

MJ - great news on prom, glad you're going. Sounds like it'll be fun with the group. Best of luck on AP testing!

Don't I know it!!! I keep telling DH that they need to put her out of her misery! Usually people with her "ability" are gone in the first week or two. Well, tomorrow is another night.......

Donna - I like Evan too, he seems to be one of the only ones not complaining. Guess he's used to the intense training.

I personally can't stand Kate Gosselin... I used to watch their show every once in a while, and I once saw an episode where they took all eight kids to WDW. And she yelled at one of her daughters in front of Cinderella and a bunch of CM's because she got ice cream on her shirt.

I know I'm not the best dancer ever, but yeah... She needs to get off the show.

I started watching it because I love Nathan Fillion (the guy who plays Rick Castle), and I just fell in love with the characters
