I had such a crush on Angel at first.....he was on my "list!" If you know what list I mean! I liked evil Spike too but he was just a bit too skinny for me. I like my men with some meat on them...then when I found out he wasn't British and he was like 40! It just ruined it for me. I still think Angel is hotter....but I like Spike's personality much better!

I like Spike but between the two I would have to say I prefer Angel. (And DB is a Philly boy and all Philly boys have a special place in my heart.) Angel, as a character, sort of recieved the short end of the stake. He was written as moody, serious and morose and sure enough he came off as all those things. Of course the girls are going to find the rock star, Spike, more attractive.

I see your point, but for me it had nothing to do with the rock star thing. Just that I was married to moody, serious and morose, and it's not all it's cracked up to be, believe me! It is sooo NOT romantic. I'd rather have a guy who wasn't afraid to have a good time (or at least crack a smile...)

I think Angel is much better looking, but I think Spike has so much more sex appeal. I like them all, what can I say? I even like Anthony Steward head. I loved him in those Taster's Choice commercials and I love him as Giles.

I'm sure somewhere there is some very thoughtful Buffy/Giles love fanfic, LOL.

Giles and Joyce in Band Candy is one of my favorite hookups ever though.

I really thought we'd see a Season 7 hook-up between Giles and Anya. I kind of hoped it would happen. Poor Giles, he almost got to have Jenny and he had that girlfriend Olivia in "Hush" and Buffy's mom in "Band Candy", of course. But that's it. A sexy, sexy man like that should have been getting lucky a lot!

While Giles wasn't Buffy's Dad, he was her father figure. Sperm donor Hank Summers didn't even show up to Joyce's funeral for goodness sake.

You guys are better at coming up with the titles of episodes than I am (again, I'm too lazy to go check), but didn't you love that episode where no one knew who they were and Giles and Anya thought they were lovers? Giles finds his airline ticket and says, something to the effect that it's no wonder I was planning on leaving you. ROFL That was a good one!

I love that episode! It's called Tabula Rasa and Willow did a spell to make Tara forget a fight they had and everyone forgot everything. Remember that Spike thought Giles was his Dad? and Buffy thought her name was Joan??

I think there is still a possibilty of the Giles spinoff but a slim one. The Buffy animated series is definatly happening though.

N.Bailey, that episode is called Tabula Rasa and it is probably one of my 10 favorites.
