Should have made that clear the second (last) one is Essex.

Okie Dokie, thanks!!! With all this talk about London, I feel like watching Mary Poppins tonight. :lmao:

Mary Poppins was the first Disney movie I saw in a movie theatre(Philadelphia) in 1964. My gram worked in Philadelphia at the time and she took my mom, my sister and I to see the movie shortly after it was released. The movie has always had a special place in my heart since then.

Feed the birds, tuppence a bag, tuppence , tuppence , tuppence a bag....................

Well, we are leaving Boston on Sat. Aug 12, flying Jet Blue and arriving in Orlando at 1:30. We will be staying at BWV until Friday, when we move to the Radisson. We will have our laptop with us, so I'd be glad to start the "live from" thread on the 12th if everyone wants us to! Is that early enough??

Denise :rotfl:

Actually Andy, I believe the word is tuppence a bag!! It is a British coin! :rotfl2:

I remember seeing that movie in the theater also, when it came out. My parents bought me the album of the music.

Its nice of you to take an interest, now I do not know if you know this but if you fly London to Orlando most people think straight acroos the Altantic, due to the roundness of the world, we go up to Ireland, towards Iceland touch the bottom of Greenland, then New foundland and down the east seaboard of USA New York etc, to Florida.

Only once have we gone south, Azores, Burmuda, Florida. Planes prefer the land route if there is a problem and the view is if one engine cut out how far the could fly on one, in an hour.

Also the flight time is nine hours to USA Olando but usaully seven back, as most winds come from USA to us.

However the only time we flew across the Altantic on the Azores route we made it in record time, that was just after 9/11 and I am not sure if it was good winds or we were told not to go along the eastern seaboard?

Andrew, do you fly non-stop from London to Orlando?

If I remember correctly, I think Moira said they have to change flights in Philadelphia, is that correct Moira?

Andy: I tried to find the answer through mapquest but kept coming up with an error. :rotfl: Very cool map you found !

Bev: I bet when you go parasailing you can see alot up above. :teeth:

Doreen: Good reason not to get your docs. Will still do doc dance with you when you get yours. I didn't mention when our romantic escape was??? Hmmm well when we don't show up for dinner you will know we are at Palo's. :teeth: Breakfast in bed for 6.........I am afriad to ask. We only have room for 2. :teeth:

For those who are not following the other Double Dip threads both the May and June threads have contributed copies of their navigators to the DIS Board Mods. The June DD scanned theirs to PDF and the quality is much better than the ones posted from May.

Although the schedule will be very similar to ours there is always a chance for scheduling changes. Below are the June PDFs for your enjoyment.

Saturday (Sailaway)

Sunday (First Stop at CC)

Monday (Sea Day)

Tuesday (Costa Maya)

Wednesday (Cozumel - Pirate Night)

Thursday (Second Sea Day)

Friday (CC Double Dip Day)

Very helpful! Thank you!

Doreen-

If Marty turns in early, and the kids are busy doing their thing, I think it is our duty to take Karen to the singles thing, don't you? Who knows, maybe other prayers will be answered.

66 for lime green, so far (Ok, looks like the lime green leis have won the decision. LOL)

It'd be great if you all could send me a check before; this way I'll put the money into my checking account and use my Visa/debit card to pay for them when I order them For those who don't already have my address, please send me an email or a PM. Thanks!

Please Note: I'm only going to take orders until this Wednesday night because I want to order them that night. I've never dealt with this company before, and I want to be sure to get the leis in the mail in time before we leave for the cruise. :)

Our documents arrived today :sunny:

Doreen: Where am I? LOL I was at work, then driving home from work, then did some yard work, then ran to the post office, bank, and dry cleaner, and now I have dinner started. I no longer have a life of leisure. LOL
Sorry, I don't know of a phone number for DCL dining. I was emailing with a woman who only dealt with the private dining room in Palo, for groups.

Congrats Terry on receiving your docs today!!! :cheer2: :yay:

:cool1: Hey sis! Thanks for the leis and for adding our names to the list! You are so thoughtful. I just was able to get online a few minutes ago. So much to do and so little time... I still have to get Jim some tanks, if that is at all possible now. They must have Christmas trees in the stores, afterall, it is almost August!
Talk to you soon!
Love,

Johna:

We went out shopping yesterday for sandals for my husband, and were unsuccessful at the stores we went to. We'll have to try again this weekend. I guess it is kind of late to be "summer clothes" shopping. I saw all of the "Back To School" merchandise out already. LOL
I hope you're able to find some tanks :)

Hi Everyone!

My, my, you've been busy little bees!!!

Good job on the way to 10,000!!!

Tina - No REAS package for me :( By the time I got my TA it was 28 days out and you need to book it 30 days out! Aw Shucks!

Johna - If anyone can find tanks for Jim it's you! I sure at least you can find some online still. How about Old Navy? Or do they only have T-shirts? Good Luck and post if you find any John 2 could use a tank or two too!

Mary Rose

Me again.

Congrats to all who received their docs! I got one set on Friday, but the other set has yet to show up :confused3

Let's take bets on when we'll reach 10,000 posts (wish I could think of a prize, but oh well). With around 900 to go here is my guess:

August 12th at noon

What's your guess?

Mary Rose

OK, I'm in.....August 10th at 6am.

I might have to stay up the whole night before posting strange messages though!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:
