Daves day
He went this afternoon for the catscan of his belly. Doc says the divertickulitis should clear up in a few days.
However, they found a lump on 1 of his kidneys! He has an apt w/urologist tomorrow afternoon
Dave is in ok spirits right now even though he keeps saying he may have cancer - 0h man

yesterday I completed our shirts for the vacation, I now have 9 shirts( 3 each) and a pair on the way from disney direct for the trip.

Well at least half my wardware is set for Aug

I wish I had the cash to go to WDW to meet you guys next month.. You think I can give my family a hint that I want money for my birthday next week..lol

I finished one dog sitting job today. I had them since June 29. I will miss these dogs very much. I still have one more dog till Saturday.. And I have an elderly lady I sit with 2x a week so her husband can go out and golf or shop....

DORI.. how are you doing?? I havent heard from you in a while. Are you and DEVIN enjoying the summer?? Are you ready for us to send you TShirts to print for us??l ol

Still waiting for MARY ROSE and BOB JOHn to have the BBQ this summer....lol

LYNN ..glad you liked your cruise.. Marty and I did CARNIVAL PARADISE for our HONEYMOON. It was totally non smoking.. and yes, your right it did have more ADULT entertainment... The comedians were great..And I do think we paid a lesser amt for a bigger sized room.. Maybe next time.... But I cant use my DISNEY CREDIT CARD on CARNIVAL..lol
MARTY NEEDS to get a job!!! Tell BOB , MARTY now admits he needs a different lawyer... gee ya think?? 3 yrs and no money.. and no lawyer that does anything???

Time for bed.. my one dog calls me at 630 to go and take her out so I am up at 545.. I will give her a bath and clean her kennel for the owners tommorrow..

Andy, I hate to do this but I just can't seem to post on the DIS tonight (morning). Could you do me a favor? Just let anyone, who cares know, that Stan did have surgery today. In the surgeon's words, the outcome was "not good". If you dont' want to do this, I understand, I just can't do it right now.

Considering what others are going through, my knee isn't all that bad. It aches and is still swollen this morning, but at least I am able to get up and move around. Hope the news is better for Dave today.

Already took Angelina to our community center this morning (at 6am) so she could do her morning workout and swim, now I'm back home and need to get ready for work. Hazel gets to pick up Angelina after she drops me off at work.

Doreen: After looking at the calender how does Aug. 27th look for you? It's on a Saturday and I will probaly bring the kids. We just have to get a hold of Linda. It's only a couple of hours out of our way to go East then West. We are going to see my Grandfather first and well that's important. He is a great all around guy.

Sue: I was thinking of you last night. My air conditioner is working overtime and it doesn't seem to be keeping areas of the house cool. How's the swim coming along? Can we meet you half way?

Barb: Sorry to hear about Dave. Hope all goes well at the doctor's today.

I have not been able to work for 8 yrs due to a back injury and have all types of pain meds.. this ointment,,, takes the last edge off of what the oral narcotics wont touch... Hi everyone. Got back early yesterday morning, instead of late Sunday night, due to flight delays.

We had a wonderful time! It was hot and humid but we didn't get much rain. It only rained a little bit on Saturday morning, but that actually worked to our advantage because we were going to Epcot that morning, and we were able to walk right onto Soarin'!!!! That ride is amazing. We then walked onto Living with the Land, and Honey I Shrunk the Audience. It rained later that evening and John and I got soaked, at the Magic Kingdom, while doing the free VMK tour. lol In the end, the CM who was conducting the tour felt bad because of the weather, so he gave us a bunch of prizes that they don't usually give out. That made it worth it. lol

We didn't wait long for any ride or attraction. We walked right onto Mickey's Philharmagic, twice. And walked onto Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. We were there at odd times, so I think this is what helped with having no wait times. With the weather being so hot, there was no way we were going to just wait in that heat. lol

We loved the Wilderness Lodge and the Polynesian, and would definitely return to both resorts on a future trip. The view from our balcony at the Polynesian was amazing. I can't wait to post the pictures. We could see the entire lagoon, with the castle dead center. We saw the fireworks from our balcony one night, and another night we saw them while swimming in the pool.

I posted short reviews of the resorts, and also a review of the restaurants, over on those boards. I'll be adding pictures to the reviews in a day or two.




We were shocked and saddened to see what happened in London last week Our thoughts go out to everyone effected.

Darlene: Our thoughts are with you. I can't imagine what you're going through right now. Please update us when you can, but I understand that you might not have the chance, or be up to it. *hugs* to all of you.

Doreen: How is Marty feeling? I hope he's getting around better. I had to laugh when Craig told us that he called Jaclyn from the resort. LOL

Barb: Please keep us updated on your DH's condition.

Andy: Thanks for posting the weekly countdown last week.

Bev: Looking forward to seeing you next week!

That's it for now. I still have not unpacked, and we (Robby and I) leave for the Jersey Shore in a few days!

I just spoke to DISNEY and the person told me that DISNEY will not be doing the WEST COAST cruises again in the near future.. too many problems.. came up but she would not elaborate on them. I had to call them up because I still have not received DANIELS CASTAWAY card... go figure a year later and still no card..

TERRY.. welcome home.. how was the trip and more so how was the ANNIVERSARY dinner?? I told the DISNEY CAST MEMBER about our reunion cruise and about the WEDDING we may have in about 5-6 yrs that CRAIG doenst know about yet on CASTAWAY CAY,,,lol She laughed,,,lol She said as long as the moms know about it,,lol it will happen..

Beautiful sunny day here .. I am home here for a few hours.. andthen I have to go give a dog a bath and clean her kennel out... now its time to be with my kids...

Dave saw the doc at the hosp today. He told Dave that the tumor is 4cm (2") so it and the kidney will need to come out. There will not be a biopsy done until its out. Thank God they were doing a catscan on his belly for the divertickulitis!
Dave says the operation is 4-6hrs. He's a big guy so its not easy to get to.
He has apt w/the doc at 4pm today so hopefully we will have a date.

I have some good news to share with my cruisin' buddies. Hazel called my mom this morning and my mom decided that she will go with us on the cruise after all. Hazel called DCL this morning and added my mom to our ressie. We told my mom this was going to be her 70th Birthday gift from us, I guess I had better start working some more overtime, LOL!!!
