Actually, I was in bed and asleep early last night. I got my six hours of sleep, and I was awake at 4:30 this morning, LOL!!!

I just took Angelina to our community center so she could do her morning workout. Hazel is still sleeping like a baby, and my morning paper just arrived. Oh yea, I also have to pay some bills this morning before heading to meet Bev at the mall. Lunch at Ruby Tuesday and meeting a fellow DIS'er, can't get much better then that!!!

Looks like a bright sunny day her in Philly instead of all the yesterday.

Andy - my mom said she would like to come and meet you and your family also. I told her she could go but only if she wears a Disney shirt. lol CYA real soon.

Hi All,

We had a very nice time meeting, talking all things Disney and sharing lunch with Bev and her family at Ruby Tuesday this afternoon. I had our waiter take a group photo before we left and I'm attaching the photo below, with names. We are all looking forward to our next mini DISmeet next month at theTrail's End Restaurant!!!

Andy: Thanks for posting the picture !! Looks like you guys had a great time. Wish I was there.

Bev: I see what you look like now. You won't be able to pick me out unless I have the shirt on. Chuck said"oh you got some highlights" Looks nice. It's all a matter of perception I think. I love him more for saying something nice even though it wasn't true.

Terry: Not sure when your coming home but hope your safe after "DENNIS"

Update on my hair.............no more orange. I used part of my gift card at the spa and well I have never been to one before I am ADDICTED !! I got 4 inches taken off. I have never had my hair this short before. The color is kinda a light copper but hey that could change before I meet with you next month. Holly ( who did my hair) wants to put some different highlights in it. I came home a took a 3 hour nap and feel GREAT !!

Thanks Barb, I have a very "LARGE" baseball bat sitting behind the front door, LOL!!!

I have a feeling all of us are going to have a great time meeting in August, then we'll have another year to get ready for our very MAGICal cruise!!!

It was like sitting down with old friends today, and to think this was the first time we met Bev and her family. I guess it's that "DISNEY" thing we share!!!

Hi everyone,

Well I finally met Andy, Hazel and Angelina. I had heard and read so much about him, it was an honor being with him and his family. We had a great time today and the time just flew by. My mom said she was really glad she went with us . I'm usually initially quiet and shy when I first meet people but they were so so easy to be around. I am sooo looking forward to our mini DISmeet at Trail's End next month and meeting everyone the following year . I think I'm more excited about 8/19/05 then I am about the Carnival cruise the following week.

I think I'm more excited about 8/19/05 then I am about the Carnival cruise the following week.

Bev--that's the way I feel about our trip next month. I'm more excited about meeting my new DIS friends then anything else about our trip. We've been to WDW so many times, but how often do you get to meet people you have communicated with over these boards. One DIS'er, Credit Man (Mike) and Family, that we met on the cruise last August will be joining us at the Trail's End next month and they won't even be cruising with us in August 2006. When Mike found out we were having this mini-DISmeet in August, he asked if he and his family could join in. Of course I said yes, Mike and his family are very sweet people and we can't wait to see them again. We have made many long lasting friendships through these boards, and more friendships are ahead of us!!!

Looking forward to meeting alot of you Aug 19th at Trails End

Ive also been PMing w/Liz from Cape Cod. Her group and I are meeting up Aug 21-26 when we'll all be staying at the BCV. We have an Illuminations Cruise booked Aug 21 (our first night there), she has floats for us for Stormalong Bay, we went in together on a grocery delivery, will be going out together during the wk on the Boardwalk, etc. Ed, his wife and daughter will be going us on the Ill. Cruise too.
It looks like we may have a chance to meet Liz when I drop/pickup Jon at MILs on Cape Cod when he spends a wk there July 30-Aug 8.

Jon & I will also be meeting Kathleena (another DISer) either Aug 19 or 20th at WL pool

The DIS really is a special "place" to meet ppl.

Jon & I were talking today about the cruise. He realizes we could cruise more often if we didnt do DCL (and go w/out a verandah but that would mean going w/out Dave). I need to do DCL so I can "know" ppl ahead of time as Dave likes his verandah/solitude.
