Hi All,
Just arrived home from seeing my orthopaedic surgeon. It has been six weeks since my last cortisone injection and I've been having some trouble with my knee the past few days. The pain was so bad last night that I had to take one of my Tylenol 3 pills just so I could get some sleep. Anyhow, the doc gave me another cortisone shot today and wants to see me in six weeks (June 28th). The exam today revealed that I have possible damage to the inside of my right knee cap, which "might" require more surgery. That's the last thing I wanted to hear right now. I just had this knee operated on in May 2004. The doc feels as though he may need to go in with the scope and scrape the inside of my knee cap. When I informed him of all the curb meters I have to read, and that I use my right knee to kneel on, he nearly had a coronary on me. I told him the reason I use my right knee so much is because of having the partial knee replacement on my left knee, I didn't want to take the chance of doing any damage to that knee, to which he agreed!!! I told the doc I can retire in five years, he then said to me......"You'll make it!!!"
So guys, if I wind up having surgery this summer, we might have to canel our trip to WDW this August. The saga continues!!!
