I also want to add that someone, not Barb (newholiday) or anyone else on our thread, PMed me with the links to two threads, I guess they are over on the Community Board, that have to do with this subject. I am glad she sent me the links, but it still doesn't explain why the person who posted above came over to THIS thread to make trouble.

Again Ed, you are right. It's best to ignore troublemakers, so I am hoping to not have to address this issue again.

Yes, it's going great! Spent earlier this week at my sister's house enjoying her beautiful built-in pool. Today we went to the beach and tomorrow we'll be hitting a different beach. I have been peeking in on our thread as I've been able to, and I will be able to post the countdown this Friday because I will be driving home Friday. But if someone wants to post the countdown on Friday morning, by all means, do so.

I know a lot of you have your Disney World trips still coming up. Can't wait to hear all about them, and to see pics from the mini meet!

Thanks Ed, but today is about the worse I felt all week, that's why I haven't been on much today. I see the surgeon tomorrow morning, the appointment I had for Monday was rescheduled. I finally did get a call from Workman's Comp Wednesday morning, they want an MRI done of my knee before any surgery is scheduled, hopefully I can have that taken care of next week.

Angelina still looks like a chipmunk that is gathering nuts for the winter. Her doctor said today and tomorrow would be the days her face would be the most swollen, the poor baby has been sleeping all day.

Greetings to all my fellow cruisers...thoughts and good wishes going across the big pond again for today's bombings in London.

Thanks Andy. Some of my friends were passing through the Oval station (where one of the detonators went off) only a few moments before. Thankfully all are okay. I just don't understand why people would do these things?

I dumped some messages out of my PM box. Sorry!! It was too full and I just haven't managed it well lately.

Sandy has pneumonia in her left lung.

When it rains it pours. My MIL had a car accident on Monday and I took her to the ER. Apparantly the parked car she ran into was at fault. Certainly wasn't hers. So, at 83 years young the police have decided to take away her driving privileges. It's a crime, I tell ya'.

Stan is resting and pretty much behaving himself recovery-wise. Now I have to keep him and Sandy at a distance from each other until I speak with his doctor. Can't have him catching pneumonia.

Happy Friday Morning Everyone!!!

Angelina is feeling much better today, the swelling in her face has started coming down, and she said it doesn't hurt as much as it did yesterday, we've finally turned the corner. Her friend Trish came over last night for a few hours, I think that helped to lift her spirits!!!

Now that we got Angelina through her surgery and on the road to recovery, I guess it's my turn next. Wish me luck this morning as I go see my orthopedic surgeon once again and see what he plans to do for me.

I am off the the Orthopedic next week to see if I need surgery...back isnt doing so good...

As far as that everything is good...

We had to cancel the Cruise...SORRY.... Seems like my sister and mother have been planning my dad's 65th birthday at Disney World next September...We cant do both..I wish we could...

Maybe we will hit the lottery and be able too...

We will miss everyone, But we will get together soon..

To our friends in England....OMG I can't believe more bombings. Thankfully nobody was killed this time, but how scary. I have to take the subway to school in Boston tomorrow & it makes me a wee bit nervous. I can't imagine how the Londoners must feel! My heart goes out to you all!

Terry: Loving your reports over on the resort & restaurant boards. We really want to try the Poly Concierge some day & after reading your reports I am hoping that is someday very very soon!

Hi All,

I arrived home a few minutes ago from seeing the surgeon. He had another series of x-rays taken on my knee and he said he does see a tear in my cartilage. He also gave a script to have an MRI done for Workman's Comp. My surgeon also said I might want to hire a attorney as he feels Workman's Comp might say this was a pre-existing condition and will try getting out of paying for my surgery. So, it all rests on waiting to hear back from my Workman's Comp insurance company. Oh joy, here we go again, the saga continues!!!

Bobby--best of luck to you when you go and visit your orthopedic surgeon next week, sorry we won't be able to meet on the cruise next year.

56 weeks to go!!!

Secondly, I am home. (Mixed feelings! ---->) Had a wonderful time, the best. I was sorry to leave the beautiful Jersey Shore, and my sister and niece this morning, but at the same time I am glad to be home! I missed John and Craig.

Darlene: How is Sandy? Pneumonia can be very painful, I hope she is feeling better. I hope she and Stan are feeling good for your cruise next month.
I did reply to your PM the other night, is that one of the PMs you deleted? I can resend it if you want.

Andy: I'm glad Angelina is feeling better. Sorry about your knee I hope Worker's Comp doesn't give you too much trouble.

I just received a call from my Workman's Comp case manager. She is going to have my MRI scheduled most likely for sometime next week. She will be calling me back with the details once an appointment has been made. Progress is being made!!!

I'm still hoping to be able to make the mini DISmeet at Trail's End on the 19th.
