Terry: Silly me if I "HAD" the pictures of me and them in the link you would know who I was talking about. Remember the show the Dukes of Hazzard? Cooter on the show was the garage mechanic? His real name is Ben Jones Well he owns a place in Gatlinburg called Cooters.

Terry: It's big in Gatlinburg and Ben Jones has been on t.v alot lately talking about the new movie coming out. They are doing a new re-make of Dukes of hazards and he is AGAINST it big time. Jessica Simpson is in it and he says it's nothing but trash not like good ole family enertainment like the show use to offer.

I also know my hair will be a different color before I go because I am gong to color it again just before I go. maybe lime green for the meet? Well Chuck just let a few min. ago for Iowa. Poor guy he needs a vacation. At least he gets to fly this time around instead of all the driving he just did.

Tina: Yes, I did hear about the movie coming out. I haven't seen the music video that she does to one of the songs from the movie (The old Nancy Sinatra song "These Boots were made for walking"), but supposedly even her fans were shocked at how risque' it is!

I had the MRI at 8 this morning, I went to a different office this time for my MRI, thay had an "open" MRI machine, it was nice, as I didn't feel as though I was in a coffin, to get this MRI. LOL!!! Now, I just have to wait to hear from Workman's Comp for surgery approval.

Hi All,

I just received the dreaded call. My knee surgery has been scheduled for next Monday August 1st. I have to call the hospital tomorrow morning and schedule to have an EKG done, then I have to go see the surgical nurse to get all my instructions regarding the surgery. I don't know what this is going to do about our trip to WDW, if I feel up to it, I will try to get there, if not, I'll be at home when all of you get together at the Trail's End on August 19th.

I have everything crossed for you, I just know you will be there, I have a gut feeling,dont cancel nothing yet, wait and see how you feel after surgery, extra loads of pixie dust flying right across the pond as we speak

Depending on how they do it this time, you may be able to walk, oh course with cruthers within a few days. I had a rupter qaud tendon in 98, and within a day I was up ( full cast) and within two weeks I was venturing out for short trips. If they could have done the authoscopic route it would have been a week at most.

Oh couse you know most of this having had knee work before

Not to worry, if I have to cancel, I won't be cancelling anything until the very last minute. It's a good thing we weren't planning on doing a whole lot during this trip, it might just turn into an R&R vacation.

2: You will have plenty of Diser's pushing you around in a wheel chair if needed
3: I REFUSE to wear my shirt unless you there

Hey Tina, I didn't think about that, maybe I could get pre-boarding!!!

Hazel and I were just discussing another possibility, if I don't feel up to making the entire 9 day trip, we might make a shorter 4 or 5 day trip coming in for the mini-meet weekend, that's the only thing I really didn't want to miss anyhow!!!

Why Ask Why?

1:Why do you need a driver's license to buy liquor when you can't drink and drive?

2:Why are there flotation devices under plane seats instead of parachutes?

3: Why do they put Braille dots on the keypad of the drive-up ATM?

4:You know that little indestructible black box that is used on planes,why can't they make the whole plane out of the same substance?

5: Why is it that when you're driving and looking for an address,you turn down the volume on the radio?

6: How do the they get the deer to cross at that yellow road sign?

7: Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do a "practice"?

8:Why do they call it a TV set if you only get one?


I am guilty of number 5. I don't know why I do that.

How come in traffic, it always seems like

You are able to drive on the parkway, but end up in a lot of "parking lots" on the truway.

Not only do I also do number 5 like you Tina, but I also turn the radio down when I pull up to a drive-up mailbox.
