Bev - I'm so glad you felt well enough to take a day at the shore. I find the shore so restorative (body, soul, mind). Keep healing and remember not to lift anything.

Terry - Don't forget to schedule that 6 month mammo. I was so relieved to hear your results.

Dori - Congrats on the home office and kudos to Dev.

Andy - A BANNER!!!! Now, you know, I need one of those. I can't resist one of your creations. Glad Angelina does't have mono. Hope you are all feeling better.

Sandy is getting ready for her dance recital on Sat. Stan is getting ready for surgery. That's life. Take the precious and happy, stir in some not-so-happy, cover it all in faith and prayer, and remember to be grateful. And to be perfectly honest, a good glass of merlot doesn't hurt either.

Ok anyone know somebody with the cruise line, with the amout of people just from the group on the cruise, maybe we can get a banner hung like Andy's during the sail a way party.

Or if enough of us have cabins with vendenda that are close to one another, a banner from the railing, yea I know they may frown on that but can you image the pics

Anyone else finding that with summer finally here they arent DISing as much? Im still checking in a couple times/day but not for nearly as long as I was. I wanna get outside, take walks, read books!

Andy.... Great banner... I would love something like that for our Oct Carnival cruise.... what program did you use??

We had our first swim in our pool today. We just turned on the heater so the water was a bit chilly, but still fun.

I need to sit my butt down and book my PS's for Disneyland In August. I keep hemming and hawing about it. I know I want to go for the balcony fantasmic desert thing, but I just dont know when and where else to eat.....

AND... we got roped into a spur of the moment Door County trip next week... we drive up Weds and back on Saturday. Not really looking forward to a 6 hour drive with the 3 kids, but my DH's whole family is going so it should be fun.

So many places to go... so little time!

Laura--I used my Print Shop Deluxe program to make the banner. The banner paper arrived in the mail today and I printed the banner off after I came home from work. It really wasn't all that hard, after I found out that I had to set my printer for banner paper, LOL!!!

I'm back from the doctor; she said I have a sinus infection and the start of bronchitis, so I'm catching it before it gets worse. Hey, with vacation only 11 days away, I'm not taking any chances!

I dropped off my prescription for an antibiotic, and it'll be ready in an hour. Then I hope to start feeling better! But poor DH John isn't feeling well either, he called me from work to see how I made out at the doctor and said he thinks he's coming down with the same thing. I'll get him right into the doctor too, if he does come down with it. I don't want ANY of us sick for our trip.

Darlene: I'm sorry to hear that Stan is having more surgery My heart really goes out to you and him, it's got to be really hard to see him go through all of this. If you need to talk or anything, please let me know. Our thoughts are with you, and your family.

Terry - GREAT news about your biopsies. I am sure you must be relieved. Hope everyone feels great for your vacation.

Andy - I love the banner. Can we make some kind of banner for our mini DISmeet in August? What can we do to really celebrate the One Year Anniversary to our August 06 cruise? Any suggestion? I'll bring some wine. I'm so excited about meeting some of DIS crowd.

Good thing you got that antibiotic. The same thing is going around our area. The doctor called in a prescription for my mom. Hope you and John feel better for your trip!

Wouldn't you know it. I made it through the work week in fine shape, even read 100+ curb meters today, then I arrive home, go to get the mail out our mailbox, and boom, I slide off the front step and jam my right knee. What is it with me and the weekends??? I'm O.K., just a bit sore.

I finally finished my paper. Now I just have to check it for mistakes & email it to the professor. It's always such a relief to get a paper done. I hate them!
