Just wondering how many people are from Jersey?? Besides Jersey week I was wondering when anybody is going and if there are any meet and greets planned in Disney or in NJ.

We are actually going to WDW in Wednesday, we will be on the Wonder on Thursday and then spending a few more days at SSR after the crusie

I used to go when I was a kid during Jersey week and I think before it was known as Jersey week, it was funny to run into people you knew in Disney. Now that I'm in my 20s and don't have kids I go back whenever, I kind of avoid Jersey week simply because the airfare is so high and I'm not on vacation that week. My next trip is in May, haven't decided if I'm flying or driving and if I'm going with friends or solo. I just know I want to go for Flower and Garden.

From Jersey as well. Not planning on traveling during Jersey week. Just got back January 27th & crossing my fingers for a possible free dining (if offered ) trip in September.

We're not going to WDW this year. I also try and avoid Jersey week.
I enjoy my commute to work that week.

I have never gone Jersey week, this year we're going Thanksgiving Day until the first sat. in Dec.

My next trip to WDW won't be until March or April 2011. I have to wait until my school calendar comes out to see when Spring Break is. Taking my niece for the first time. She's going to be 5 then and she already knows she is going.

Life Long Jersey girl here - and no, I don't look or talk like the folks on the "Jersey Shore" show.

The last two times we went to WDW were in June so we're going to try Jersey week for the first time leaving on 11/1 and coming back on 11/7. I am excited to stay at AKV and not deal with the summer heat or huge summer crowds.

Jersey girl here too. We have been during Jersey Week several times. It is actually my favorite time to go, but we have been going in August because we drive and have more time to do so.

We went Jersey week in 2008 and it was awesome. Weather was much more bearable than our August trips. On our first day there we were able to see MK dressed up for Halloween with all the pumpkins etc. During the week we visited Epcot for Food and Wine for the first time. All of us really enjoyed this. Then our last day MK was decked out for Christmas. It was a great time to go. We would love to go again but DD is starting HS in the fall so I doubt we will pull her put of school for that anymore.

Another NJer checking in! Not doing Jersey Week this year, but have done it in the past. Fun time to visit WDW!

S. Jersey here, I avoid Jersey week, I used to go down the day after Thanksgiving and spend two weeks. problem with that is the weather, it can be very cold and rainy. I now go free dinning in Sept. and just love it! The parks are not packed and I don't freeze.

Another South Jersey girl! We go the week after Jersey week. My kids are in Catholic school and we are closed for a few days the week after the public schools. 9 months to go!
