Call to confirm reservations?

Does everyone call the resort directly a few days prior to confirm the reservation?

We made reservations through the Disney club for the first 2 nights at AKL and then through the Vacation Club for the other 5 nights at BWVs.

I have confirmation letters from both and my paperwork from Disney Club (hotel vouchers, etc) arrived last week....

I also will be faxing some room requests next week...is there a need to call...your opinion??? Thanks

I have never called to confirm! Just take those confirmation papers with you.
