My boyfriend and I are looking to attend the Sunday brunch at the California Grill. We have the Christmas Party that evening so we are planning to have our big meal early. I know it’s a tough ADR to get so we’re hoping to book it as soon as our 180 day window opens on 5/15. My question is does anyone have any opinions on this brunch that they could share with us? Also are there any other Sunday brunches on site besides the California Grill? We prefer a non character experience but it’s not a deal breaker if that’s all there are. Thanks for any help/advice.

It’s amazing!! One of the best meals I’ve had on property in quite some time. Definitely take your time, relax, and enjoy all that delicious food (not to mention mimosas!)

Some other spots with Sunday brunch are Wine Bar George, Raglan Road, and Homecomin’ - all in Disney Springs.

It is absolutely amazing. We were lucky enough to get one of the first reservation times so we had a window table. It was a great view and the service and meal was great. How many days in are you trying for? Unfortunately for this fall Sunday was just day 2 of our trip and I couldn't get it :(

Best meal we've ever had on property; we've done it 3 times and plan on doing it again this December!

Please note, that for some reason the brunch doesn't always open up for reservations at 180 days... sometimes you have to wait a few weeks or even a month closer to the date to get a reservation, which has occurred 2 of the 3 times we have done it. So, if on the 180 day you see that there are no reservations to be had, don't get discouraged and think that they're all gone... it may just be that they haven't been released yet. Just be diligent and keep checking the website, or sign up for the Touring Plans ADR finder.

You're gonna LOVE this brunch!!!!

We did it last trip. We also has a car which made the free valet parking a plus. We left the car for the day as we walked to MK after brunch.

Definitely worth the price.

We’re at the Dolphin. We’ll take a bus to MK, then walk to Contemporary. Sunday is the 3rd day of our trip 11/15-11/23.

totally worth it. we'll be back for our 5th and 6th brunches later this year. and i second the recommendation for the TP res finder - i totally spaced the 180 day mark for our October trip and couldn't get a brunch ADR. i got an alert about 3 weeks later and was able to grab one.

Just another person chiming in to say that Brunch at the Top is amazing! I was amazed at how leisurely it was paced as well. We were up there for over 2.5 hours! Our waitress really let us take our time but was sure to never let our mimosas run out!

I did it in Feb, on the first day of my trip, and it was absolutely amazing! Some of the best food I've ever had! I'm hoping to do it again in November, after I finish running the Wine & Dine 1/2.

It’s so funny I just came on here to see if California grill brunch was “worth” it! It will just be my 9 year old daughter and I. I’m trying to justify the price tag on this brunch. The plan is to head into Epcot afterward. I’m thinking about what to do for dinner later that evening. Right now booked at Coral reef, but thinking to stick to something lighter if we do brunch? Right now Cali grill brunch is set for 11:15am. Planning to show up STARVING :rotfl2: Thoughts?

I say book it if you can get it and think about it later. This has been impossible for me to get for our July trip. Good luck!

We've never done the ADR finder. I would appreciate any tips for how to make a request for brunch.

We did the brunch two weeks ago. Amazing! We also got an early reservation that began at 10. We were also seated at a window and had a very leisurely meal. It was so filling that we couldn't do our dinner at Storybook Dining with Snow White justice. If were were to do the brunch again it would be our only sit down meal of the day. Enjoy it!

Do it. I had an 10am reservation and walked out around 12pm fully stuffed. I wanted to order more than one entree, but there would have been no point. I got the shrimp and grits and they were absolutely incredible. My friend got steak and eggs and loved it. The buffet was fine, nothing too special, but the babka station was the definite highlight for both of us. Served with a warm butter, ice cream, and corn flakes - soft and crunchy and hot and cold all in one bite. Absolute magic on a plate.

I love the brunch there! I always try to get their earliest time. It can take a while to eat there and it's nice to be one of the first to walk inside and have a fresh buffet waiting for us. Then we finish around noon and head off to the parks or wherever. I have a few reviews in my dining reports, links in signature.

Their sushi is really good and I love the deviled eggs there. On the menu you can order as many dishes as you want, there isn't a limit. I'm usually stuffed off just one though. The French Toast is really good.

I think the responses so far are unanimously positive which is so odd because on these boards you always have at least one disgruntled poster say “I didn’t think it was all that!” But so far it’s all raves.

Ok. I'll post one Negative thing for us-I'll be that person ;) Our Waitress was just ok, kinda bad compared to the others that we saw & heard talking to people. When DH asked about ordering a 2nd entree She basically said that most people don't, but if we found it necessary we could. All the other servers around were encouraging people to do so and try different things. When we asked about the entrees she couldn't make a recommendation she just said the steak and eggs benedict were popular.

Now everyone else was top notch the gentleman who made my Bloody was so nice, the Lady at the Baba station very nice and came by and checked on us after I tasted it, it was so good. We had a great time when we went back for the fireworks that night too.

Also if the Avacado Chicken toast is on the menu get it! Best thing we had the whole trip.

That is a shame you had that experience. Like others, I would strongly recommend this as the best meal we have had at Disney. We had an amazing server. We were ordering our entrees and thought we might share another, and he insisted he would just bring us each the second one. He also timed the two entrees so that we had plenty of time in between.

Both times I have been able to book using the reservation finder. The last time only about a month out.
