Interesting perspective. But we've eaten dinner there twice during Wishes and never had a problem getting our table. I feel terribly for the OP but highly commend them for their positive attitude. That's the Disney spirit.Originally posted by CAP56
DEPENDING ON THE TIME OF YEAR AND WHAT TIME WISHES IS PREFORMED DISNEY COULD CHARGE AN EXTRA $20 PER TABLE DURING THE SEATING THAT FALLS DURING WISHES....I KNOW NONE OF US LIKE TO PAY ANY MORE THAN WE ALREDY DO AT DISNEY, BUT THEN IT WOULD BECOME EVEN MORE SPECIAL AND WOULD GUARANTEE THAT WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR PS FOR THE "WISHES SEATING" NO ONE WILL BE DISAPOINTED.
BESIDES, AS A STOCK HOLDER, I WOULD NOT MIND ANOTHER SOURCE OF REVENUE.

On the other hand, each time we've eaten at CG, we've requested and received a window table for a good view of Wishes and have always been stressed by our wait staff to 'take your time...do not hurry.' Each time our meal was almost 3 hours. They just do not hurry us which I *love*. As a result of our service in this respect, we've always tipped a little extra because they did not try to rush us out. So perhaps we aren't the only ones who feel this way.
Finally, ITA that Wishes is a millions times better from Main Street and would never pay a 'fee' just to watch Wishes from a CG dinner table.
Again, OP -- so sorry this happened to you. Glad you at least got to see what the fireworks fuss was all about.
