California Grill for Fireworks

Several questions:

1) Anyone know if they pipe in the music for the MK fireworks BOTH on the observation deck and inside the restaurant?

2. How's the view of the fireworks?

Inside they pipe in the music, but no longer dim the lights. On deck, you can hear the music anyway. I'm not certain if they have any loudspeaker up there--I never actually looked.
I think the view is fine. But if ALL you want to do is see the fireworks, a lot less $$$$ just to go into the MK and watch!!!

We had dinner there in Dec 06 on Xmas Eve for my birthday and while having our dinner the fireworks went off. Yes they did pipe in the music, we didn't go to the observation deck because we had a window seat. It was so cool to watch them from our table while dining. When you check in for your meal request a window seat, you may luck out. Awesome food too Were going again this year for my sons birthday and are having dinner there again love that restaurant!

there are speakers out on the deck, it does tend to get crowded... there is a second outdoor observation deck if you go around to where the bathrooms are, that tends to be less crowded.

We went to CG for our honeymoon in October. I called 6 months in advance to make the reservation, and when I went to check in, told them I would like a window seat..... ressie was for 8pm, with the fireworks scheduled at 9pm. We finally got our seat at 8:45pm and the table was worth the wait.... couldn't have asked for a better view.... they do pipe in the music but the lights do not dim anymore.... i am a picky eater and my opinion, i thought it all was overrated and i will not be returning.... too much $$$ and i didn't care for the food.... i would say just go to MK to watch.... or I like to go to the Polynesian beach and watch from there..... either way, have fun!
