California Adventure Food & Wine ~ April 2016

I have been to Disney World's Food & Wine Festival many times, and have been just dying for it to return to California Adventure. As soon as I heard, we booked a quick trip. Now I am hungering for details - it seems like it is so soon with so little information out. I figured you all would have details before anyone else, so I thought I would post here. Can't wait!!

Disneyland Resort is notorious for not releasing details (and sometimes dates) until late in the game for many events. For example, the holiday season starts in November and they may not announce dates until September, or release any other info until after Halloween! It's very frustrating for anyone trying to plan their trips.

I already booked rooms for Friday - Sunday ... will see what we will actually do after :flower1::rolleyes1

We will be there Tue-Fri April 5-8 the calendar has the Food and Wine festival marked down for those weekdays. I hope it's accurate! Disneys official calendar for times and events)

My guess is that some of the food items (especially anything that is offered at one of the existing CS locations) will be available daily, but the seminars/special events/etc. will only be offered on the weekends.

Thanks for posting the links. Interesting...I wonder if they'll be other non-celebrity-based culinary seminars (like they have at Epcot)...

I dont know what to do - should I book already or wait until more info comes out?

I just booked a Lasseter wine tasting! I just chose a time I wanted and then after I paid, I realized there was a schedule and it was a Lasseter - so I'm incredibly excited! Seems reasonable too - $15/person.

I certainly hope so!
From the Parks Blog Post, it sounds like there will be non-celebrity chef culinary demos...but it sounds like they're first-come-first-serve basis. It'll be interesting to see if they post a schedule beforehand or if it'll be one of those things listed in the Weekly Times Guide.
Culinary Demonstrations featuring some of the best chefs in the industry, including some of your favorites from the Disneyland Resort, will take place on the Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land. Don’t miss your chance to learn a new technique during these 30-minute complimentary presentations. Seating is limited, so be sure to arrive early.

For the Culinary Demonstrations I am not wild about them being FCFS... I like, scracth that, LOVE planning my trips so if there was a way to registe before that would be amazing.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Maybe there will be a way to pre-register, but the "seating is limited, so be sure to arrive early" text seemed to imply first-come-first-serve to me.

Yeah, it did to me as well. Will just have to wait and see, so far we are booked for 4 Beverage Seminars! :P
