Calculating points for 2006

Hi kind of new to all of this. I'm trying to decide if we want to rent points for our Jan 2006 vocation. I had a few questions about DVC points etc if some one could please clarify. When calculating the points I will need for Jan 2006 resort points is ok to assume that point charts for 2005 will be the same for 2006? If not how do i go about finding out how many points i will need for Jan 2006? Is it to early or late to make reservation for BWV (studio) for Jan 2006? Thanks

For January, yes, the points will be the same. Generally speaking, the only periods that vary each year are the long Thanksgiving weekend and Easter / Spring Break.

Now is just about the right time to start looking to rent points. BWV owners can reserve 11 months ahead of time. So, depending on your exact travel dates, you could start booking any day now.
